Red's POV

Lunch came fairly quick, they both changed out of their clothes to something more comfortable, deciding it’d be best to stay in to avoid any more panic if they'll be flooded with more memories, she still gets a few migraines here and there after getting another memory but it doesn't hurt too much to actually bother her. Chloe on other hand was deeply bothered which worried her, she was assured when she told her she'd taken some painkillers and would rest if she'd calm down.

“Hey, Red?” She hears Chloe call her from the bathroom.

She peeked her head out of the door. “Yeah Blue?”

“Swords and Shields practice starts tomorrow and I'm probably gonna come back late.” Their eyes trailed to her sword propped up near the girl's desk.

“It’s okay. You're great with that sword anyways, as long as I'm not at the end of it.” She laughs watching her face drop.

“Red.” Chloe pouted, getting up from the bed and made her way towards her.

“I'm kidding, Charming.” She assures her, placing her hand on her shoulder. “But, it’s really fun seeing you fight. You got this look that makes you intimidating but only from people who don't know the actual you.”

“You should try and join in for tryouts.” Chloe offered.

“Yeah no, as much as I enjoy violence. I’d rather watch you fight than actually fight you again.” She winks, earning a soft laugh.

“Is that so?” Chloe mused.

She shrugged her shoulders. “Can you blame me?”

The blue haired girl grins. “Sooo, about that offer earlier.”

“What offer?” She raises her brow with a smirk.

“About staying in?” The girl blushed and ducks her head.

She bit her lip trying to stop a grin, crossing her arms and faked a serious expression. “You blew your chance earlier, Charming.”

Chloe rolls her eyes as she walks back to her bed.  “Okay, suit yourself then. I guess I’ll enjoy this comfy bed alone then.”

She sees her teasingly smirk towards her causing her to frown and eventually walk to the girl’s bed. “You're taking away all my villainous attributes. It makes me look like I’m going soft.”

Chloe snorts. “You lost all of that when we came back.”

“I have a reputation to uphold, Chlo.” She shrugs as she lays beside her, letting Chloe rest her head on the crook of her neck. “Besides, you're the only one I’ll show this side to.”

Her arm slides under her back as her hand comes up and plays with a few blue curls of her hair. “Do you think my mom would care about this? About me liking girls? About love? Back in Wonderland, I never really bothered to think about forming any kind of relationships, let alone knowing my likes and dislikes. I used to think that I'd never experience anything outside Wonderland, and that one day I'll take the throne and become some version of her.”

“I'm not sure, but it never hurts to try, right? Plus, family weekend is right around the corner. Why not talk to her during that? Get to know her as Bridget and not the Queen of Hearts, as well as you being someone you wanted to be instead of the version your mother wanted you to be.” Chloe voiced as she laced her fingers onto hers.

“How are the migraines?” She wondered.

“It's more bearable than before, it just felt like I lived two lives. One with you and one without, now it's so connected that it's like we were bound to know each other at some point in our lives.” She hummed as a response then leaned her head on hers.
