Red's POV

They walk to the cafeteria with their shoulders slightly bumping each other, giggling as she tells her all the antics and destruction she caused back at Wonderland to piss her mother off. Looking back her mother always hated everything that she liked, from the clothes to the foods and to just her wanting to be herself in general.

She tells Chloe she'll wait for her at their usual spot as she heads to the line. Taking a seat, she notices a person hovering in front of her, she glances to see Principal Uma. “Oh uhm, Hi, Principal Uma.”

“I won’t be long to disturb you, I was just gonna see how you are settling in.” Uma shrugs.

“Uh well, I guess?”

“I heard your chemistry teacher complain about you running out of his class and took Chloe Charming out of her class as well. Look, I'm not gonna yap about it, cuz I really don't get paid enough for this but please, tell the teacher why before you run out again.” The pirate sighs.

She could almost feel the embarrassment creep up to her cheeks. “It won't happen again, sorry.”

“Thank you.” Uma smiles as Chloe appears behind her, she turns to her. “Please refrain from running out of your classes without an excuse, okay? I really don't want to contact your parents for skipping class.”

“Uh yes, Principal Uma.” Chloe squeaked.

“Now that that's settled, I’ll leave you two here.” Uma turns and leaves the two dumbfounded, they watch as she disappears in the halls.

They turned to each other and bursted out laughing, Chloe shivered. “I really thought she was gonna call us out for skipping.”

“At least our parents didn't get an early family weekend.” She chuckles until she realizes that family weekend was tomorrow. “Rabbits, I‘m gonna see my mom tomorrow.”

“Yeah.” The blue-haired princess nods. “I was planning on coming out to my parents tomorrow.”

She hummed, her eyes focused on the girl in front who passed a few slices of mixed fruits to her. “I‘ll try talking to my mom while you do, I need more time to let all of this sink in and actually try to be close to her.”

Chloe nods as she watches her take an orange slice and pop it in her mouth. “You know where to find me when things get overwhelming.”

She smiles softly. “Don‘t worry, Charming. I can handle it, I need to face it eventually but yeah, I know where to look.”

“Good.” They both had this goofy grin on as they finished their respective plates, surprised that this time her stomach didn't hurt after eating a bowl full of fruits or neither did she feel nauseous after taking the first bite.

They make their way back to their dorms, taking in the silence of the halls and the soft chirping of crickets outside. She took a bath while Chloe changed out of her clothes into some pajamas. After walking out the bathroom, she sees the blue-haired princess was already in her bed reading her history book. Gawking at how pretty she is with her hair tied in the back and her eyes fixated on the book, she couldn't help but sneak in between her arms resting her head near her neck and her arm set across her waist, her eyes landing on the page the girl was reading.

“Aren‘t you tired yet, boo?” She mumbles, her eyes already half-lidded as she listens to the soft beat of her heart.

“I need to start studying for our upcoming quiz on Monday.” Chloe rests her head on top of hers, her eyes not leaving her book.
