I look at my phone to see a message from Scott to our group chat .
-mat controls the Kamina at station -
"He wants the bestiary." My dad said after Allison showed the message Scott sent her . "That's not from Scott. He wouldn't have texted me. And he definitely wouldn't have mentioned Derek." Allison informed us all . I mess around with an arrow flicking and twirling it between my fingers .
"The sheriff's station?" Gerard questioned, his voice laced with concern and suspicion. "If Derek's really there, I doubt it's willingly." My dad chimed in . ""You think Jackson's there two ?" Allison asked . "Maybe. Maybe him and the one controlling him," my dad acknowledged, his gaze focused on the blueprint of the station he had pulled from a drawer and laid out on the table.
"How many do they keep on in a night shift?" Gerard asked , having picked up tidbits of information from Stiles' constant blabbering. "Four," I replied confidently before reaching into my pocket for a cigarette and finding her lighter .
"Since budget cuts, maybe four at the most. My guess would be they're either dead or paralyzed by now," my dad concluded, his voice tinged with grimness. Gerard, ever the opportunist, saw a glimmer of hope in this chaotic situation. "This might just be the confluence of events we've been hoping for," he suggested as I placed the cigarette against my lips.
My attention remained fixated on the arrow in my hands, its movements mirroring the whirlwind of thoughts swirling through my mind. Gerard's words of "confluence or conflagration" pulled me out of my introspection. "Confluence or conflagration?" My dad questioned suspiciously as I lit my cigarette letting the smoke leave my lips .
"I'm open to both," Gerard proclaimed, his voice brimming with determination. Allison, who had been silent until now, finally spoke up, questioning the course of action. "What do we do now?" she asked, her voice tinged with uncertainty.
Gerard turned his attention to both Allison and me, acknowledging the authority that now fell upon our shoulders. "Maybe you two should tell us. That authority falls to you both now," he suggested, his gaze shifting between us.
"Not at their age," my dad countered, quickly interjected, expressing his disagreement with Gerard's proposition , his voice filled with concern for our well-being. "They know there's a difference between revenge and retribution. Don't you two?" Gerard's question hung in the air, and Allison nodded in agreement, Argent looked to Katrina smoking , he didn't like her doing it but he let it go despite the situation . He also no response came from her she wasn't even looking this way .
Katrina remained silent, her gaze fixed elsewhere, disconnected from the conversation. "Make the decision from a vantage point of strategy over emotion, and we'll follow your two's lead." Gerard told Allison and didn't realise Katrina wasn't even looking there way . Argent voiced his disapproval of Gerard's suggestion, reluctant to let us bear the weight of such decisions. "I want Derek dead," Allison declared, her words ringing out with a chilling certainty. Katrina soon looked towards her sister .
"What about Scott ?" Our dad asked questioning her decision . Allison hesitated at Scott's name being mentioned as did Katrina hearing it . She swore to him he wouldn't be hurt by her family under her watch and she meant it .
"Scott was not the ones who forced my mother to kill herself," she stated bluntly, drawing a line between her feelings of vengeance and the innocence of others.
"He's not exactly an innocent bystander either. You can't pick and choose - " Argent said to Allison. "But I can prioritize. And the priority right now is Derek." Allison said her voice Cold and unwavering. "What about the others? Derek's pack?" Argent questioned . "If they try and protect him, then we kill them.." Allison responded said bluntly ." All of them " she said with an ice-cold gaze she echoes Gerard's own words. Argent looked to his daughter Katrina as she spoke up making them turn to her as she burnt out her cigarette .
