They rushed Katrina into the hospital, the urgency palpable in the air. The medical team swiftly took over, attending to her critical condition with unwavering focus. Argent, overwhelmed with worry, attempted to follow them.

"No, no, let them do their job. You go in there, they can't," Melissa intervened, recognizing the panic in his eyes. She understood the need for answers and reassurance, but she also knew the importance of giving the medical professionals space to work.

"But she's my daughter," Argent pleaded, his voice filled with a mixture of fear and desperation. "I know," Melissa replied gently, placing a comforting hand on his arm. "We're doing the best we can. The best thing you can do for your daughter right now is to stay calm. Trust in the doctors and let them do their work, okay?"she told him .

Allison, seeing her father's anguish, stepped in and pulled him aside, giving him a reassuring squeeze. They stood together, finding solace in each other's presence, while the medical team fought to save Katrina's life.

Scott and Derek anxiously listened to the machines, their hearts skipping beats as they detected the irregularities in Katrina's vital signs. The sound of her heart stopping and then starting again sent shivers down their spines. Hours turned into days, and the uncertainty seemed to stretch on endlessly.

"What the hell is wrong with this kid?" a doctor's frustrated voice broke the tense silence, the machines continuing to alarm.
"I don't know... it's like her body's trying to fight something off," Melissa explained, her voice tinged with concern. Panic flooded every nerve in Derek's'body as he grappled with the fear of losing someone he cared deeply for "Still no pulse " a doctor called out as they charged the paddles again and ordered clear the doctors and nurses stepped back and shocked Katrina for the third time . Melissa pressed her fingers against Katrina's neck and a sense of relief washed over her feeling a pulse . " sinus rhythm " Melissia called out . "Holy hell " she said relieved she thought she lost Katrina then.

In the midst of the chaos, Scott felt a comforting presence as Allison took his hand. Her touch brought a small measure of solace, a reminder of their shared love and determination. "She's gonna be... okay. She has to be. She's strong," Allison whispered, her voice filled with conviction, although tears brimmed in her eyes. The fear for her sister was a heavy burden, as if someone was trying to steal a part of her soul.

Melissa's voice cut through the tension, offering a glimmer of hope. "She's stable for now," she announced, bringing a momentary calm to the room. Argent took a seat beside Katrina's hospital bed, clasping her hand in his own. His eyes were filled with a mixture of love, worry, and determination.

"I've given her a sedative to calm her down and help her breathe more evenly. It seems to be working. I'll give you some time," Melissa informed him, understanding the need for privacy and connection in this critical moment.
"Thank you," Argent murmured, his voice filled with gratitude, as Melissa nodded and left the room, closing the door behind her.

Argent leaned closer to his daughter, his voice soft and filled with love. "Hey, trouble," he whispered, his grip tightening on her hand. "I love you so much, sweetheart... You're gonna be okay," he reassured her, his words filled with a father's unwavering love and belief in her strength.
