Simon's POV

"I'm bored" Danny says while laying on my bed, staring at the ceiling. I'm sitting at the edge of my bed trying to get a knot out of one of my shoes... it's near impossible.

"Wanna do something impulsive?" Danny asks me before I can respond to his complain. I look towards him and smile.

"Is that even a question?" I say. He smirks at me.

"Let's go get piercings" he says with a grin on his face. I can feel my heart stop for a moment. Sure, I've always wanted my ears pierced but I'm scared of pain... I mean who isn't but still.

"You've gotta hold my hand babe" I say. He smiles to me.

"Can I hold it either way?" He asks all innocently... he's nowhere close to innocent in that perfect mind of his.

"Of course you can babe" I say. He smiles, and sits up. He slides close to me where I'm sitting, and wraps his legs around me. He notices what I'm doing. I'm not gonna lie... this shoe is getting me frustrated. I wanna wear them but I can't slip my foot through it when it's tied. Besides that, I'm not gonna wear two separate shoes. That would be strange.

"Can I see that for a second?" Danny asks. I hand the shoe to him immediately without a second thought. He holds it out in front of me, and simply pulls on one of the laces. The shoe practically unties itself from the double knot that I couldn't untie... the fuck.

"You've gotta be fucking kidding me" I say. Danny starts snickering a little. I push all my weight backward, and lay him flat onto the bed with me on top not facing him.

"Heyyyyyy. This is how you pay me back?" Danny asks. I start laughing and spin around so I'm on top of him. I think he might be a bit sugar high based off his energy. Halloween was two days ago... we finished the candy today. Well damn.

I look at him and get lost in his blue eyes... I mean it too. They just put me in a trance.

"I love you" I say and press my forehead against his.

"I love you too" he says. I close my eyes and just enjoy this moment. I don't want it to ever end... I don't want anything to ever end.

"You're still gonna marry me one day, right?" I ask. I don't know why I asked that. Am I overthinking right now? Maybe a little.

"I wouldn't marry anybody else. I want to spend the rest of my life with you. I'll kill a million times if I must to make sure of that" Danny says. I smile, and lean down, giving him a kiss. I don't pull away. Our lips practically dance with each other.

After what felt like hours but was probably thirty seconds, we pull apart for air.

"Ditto" I say. He starts laughing a little.

"So" he says and a smile forms on his face.

"Piercings?" He asks. I smile back.

"So are you thinking studs?" The piercer asks. It's a girl with blonde hair that's shaved on both sides but long on the top.

"I'm honestly new to this so I have zero clue" I say and laugh nervously. I look to Danny and he smiles to me. This tattoo shop is really nice. It's not one of those cheap janky ones you pass by.

"I recommend the studs since they go with anything and after a few months you'll be able to change them" the piercer says. I look back to her the second she started talking, and nod.
