Chapter 18

——Time Skip One Month——

Simon's POV

"You've got a toothbrush packed babe?" I ask Danny as we check our suitcases last minute. He nods smiling. I can see how excited he is for Universal Studios tomorrow. It's all over his face.

"I can't believe we're hitting Disney on the last day. This is the best trip ever" he says excitedly.

"You're adorable, you know that right?" I say snickering. He makes a goofy face.

"How about now. Still adorable or ugly?" Danny asks. I start laughing at his playful expression.

"Beyond adorable. Three days at Universal and one day at Disney. You exc- why am I asking that?" I say. He chuckles.

"Cause you're funnnnny" he says. He's on such a hyper train right now and it's hilarious to watch.

Our suitcases are on my bed... scratch that, our bed now. Danny was able to sell his town house and got a ton of money for it. Who knew they went for so much in the market.

Danny plops down onto the bed and pats his lap. I roll my eyes playfully and walk over to him. I sit on his lap, facing him. I wrap my legs around his torso and my arms around his neck.

"This what you wanted babe?" I ask. He smirks. That fucking smirk. The shit it does to me is indescribable.

"Yeah" he says simply and leans in, kissing me passionately. Immediately I kiss back.

After probably a minute, we break the kiss and just lean our foreheads against each other.

"One thing I'm not excited for is waking up at four AM tomorrow to get to the airport" Danny says snickering. I laugh.

"Let me know when you find someone who says they are" I say. My mom knocks on the door. She's the only person who lives in this house too so it's obviously her.

"Come in" I say. She walks in. I realize that I'm still on Danny's lap but I don't care and by the look on her face, neither does she.

"It's been so long since I've had to get up early to go to the airport but I'm excited because that means we get time to settle into the Disney hotel" my mom says smiling. I look at Danny and he smiles.

"Found someone" he says. I start hysterically laughing in his lap and so does he. I can tell without looking that my mom is confused.

"Alright weirdos, get some rest. It's ten already and we've gotta get up early. Goodnight guys" she says.

"Goodnight" we both say laughing still. She walks out of the room. I'll have to explain the inside joke to her later.

——Time Skip——

"I call window seat" I practically yell as we hop into our row on the plane. I can hear Danny and my mom laugh behind me.

"Alright alright. Danny you get the middle that means" my mom says. Danny yawns and nods.

"Ok, I might fall asleep on someone's shoulder" he says. I sit down and look up at him as he sits down next to me. Immediately he leans his head on my shoulder. Yeah, he's gonna fall asleep.

"When we get to Florida, I'm gonna have to call school and quickly give them the bank information so that I can pay off my last semester tuition" Danny says. I nod to him. It breaks my heart that he's doing this all on his own while my mom is putting me through college. It also shows though that he's independent. All the money he has though is gonna go towards schooling and then he won't have much left after.
