Keira murdered nearly everyone she met in her way. A few scattered residents were the only ones spared. As Cassius stepped out of the elevator, he froze, paralyzed with fear. He watched Keira walk past him, utterly ignoring his presence—giving not even a glance in his direction.

Further down the hallway, Keira spotted Ana emerging from the apartment, drawn by the screams and noise. Ana glanced around and locked eyes with Keira.

Without hesitation, Keira attacked. Ana struggled, her hands clawing desperately at Keira, but trying to foght Keira was pointless. Keira’s fangs sank deep into her neck, and the rush of Ana’s blood ignited a thrill that was almost intoxicating.

Yet, the real satisfaction came when Ana’s body hit the floor with a resounding thud. Keira didn’t kill her outright—not out of mercy but because Ana’s blood was exquisite. If Ana didn’t succumb to blood loss, Keira planned to return for more.

Leaving Ana to her fate, Keira's fury
raged on. She tore through the hallways, ripping open the necks of anyone who dared cross her path.

By the time Keira reached the top floor, the hotel behind her had become a nightmare, flooded with blood and the lifeless bodies of Arius's closest friends. She paused for a moment, inhaling deeply, savoring the metallic tang of blood that lingered in the air before quietly wandering into his apartment.

The room was dimly lit, the soft glow of small lamps casting long shadows over the high walls. Zaidh lay sprawled on the couch, completely oblivious to the nightmare approaching him.

In an instant, Keira lunged at him, her grip tightening around his throat like an iron vice. Zaidh's eyes flew open, panic flooding them as he thrashed against her hold, but it was useless—she was too strong. A whispered incantation left her lips, and a numbing paralysis seized his body. He could do nothing but watch, as she loomed over him.

"Stay quiet," she murmured, her voice dangerously soft. Before he could summon a response, her fangs plunged into his neck.

A sharp gasp tore from his lips, his body tensing against her bite. A firestorm of pain surged through him.

"You will regret this, witch," Zaidh hissed.

It seemed that his blood satisfied her desire and unquenchable thirst. She savored every single drop, and when she felt Zaidh's heart stop beating, she smirked and pulled away from him. She gave him one last glance, wiping his blood away from her lips before heading to the bedroom where Arius was sleeping.

Keira entered the bedroom quietly, her eyes fixed on Arius as layed in the bed. She waited, savoring the moment before he woke and saw her standing there. When his scent finally hit her, the hunger returned with a vengeance, impossible to resist.

"Keira..." he began, but his voice ignited fury in Keira even more.

She moved toward him, her fangs sinking into his neck before he could react. His blood flooded her senses, igniting her hunger even more.

"Do you remember the first time you drank my blood?" Arius whispered.

Keira hesitated for a moment, her lips pulling away from the wound. Her sharp, red eyes met his, and she saw the intention behind his words.

"Not going to work," she said flatly, though her voice betrayed a flicker of uncertainty.

"Remember our first night,"Arius pressed, "and the nights before. Remember how you felt—not just as a vampire but as a human."
It became hard to fight the emotions and memories from flooding her mind. She didn't want to feel that.

For a moment, she faltered, the emotions threatening to crack her cold resolve. But the hunger, the thirst for vengeance, pushed her emotions away.

Each sip of Arius’s blood made it harder to ignore the resurfacing memories and feelings. Guilt and regret flooded her mind, mingling with the bitterness of what she had become. Finally, she pulled back as she stared at Arius’s pale body.
