I've never been I a hospital before. Not for injuries, at least. Now I was looking around, seeing wires pierced through my skin, and I shivered.

It was cold and empty. I could only hear the faint beeping of the machine and my own heartbeat displayed on the screen next to me. I glanced around and found about a million orchids, my favourite flower, sitting on a small table in the corner. It warmed my heart seeing a few cards and a teddy bear next to them.

I wondered where they were, hoping they would continue having fun without me. I felt guilty for ruining our trip on the first day, but I wouldn't say it to them, as I knew they'd beat me into a coma.

I didn't know how long I'd been out, but I felt a bandage across my head, only covering the scar.

Just then, Enzo walked in, holding food. His eyes lit up when he saw me awake and rushed over.

"You okay?" He asked, simple but concerned.

"Yeah, I'm good. How long was I out?"

"Just today. The team came by, got you flowers. Jude got you a fluffy toy." He winked.

"Oh my God, don't tell me you're becoming like Aurélien," I groaned.

"Well, you've got to admit the way he was yesterday..." he said, holding up his hands.

"I know you're with Gavi right now, and he's great and whatever, but you've known Jude for years."

Shit. I forgot about Gavi. During all the commotion and unintentionally focusing on Jude, I completely forgot I was supposed to be dating Gavi.

"Don't worry, we've already told him what happened. He even offered to fly out to see you." Enzo said, but noticed my eyes widening.

"We said no. I figured." He then handed me the food, stepping out to tell the rest I was awake.

In a few hours, I was out of the hospital and back on a chair at the hotel swimming pool. Luckily, I was too fragile to join the rest on a hiking trip through the mountains so me, Naomi and Aurélien were relaxing all day, ordering food and gossiping.

"It's just complicated. I mean, it was supposed to start as a fake relationship, but even just a week in, he started to show too much affection. Don't get me wrong, I liked it at first, and I started to feel the same, but now it's different." I said after explaining my whole situation to Naomi.

"So, you're still into Jude?"

"Maybe. I just don't want to admit it, especially after yesterday. But I can't do that to Gavi, he's a great guy."

"Who cares about him? Jude's the hottest player in the world. You were with him once, even though it wasn't real, but it's not like he doesn't still like you," Naomi said.

"Well, I'm not sure he's the hottest, but she's right. I see the way you look at each other. It's destined to be," Aurélien adds.

"What's destined to be?" I hear from behind, seeing Camavinga back from hiking, his legs covered in dirt.

"Bellingham and Davi," Naomi casually replied, receiving a slap from me.

"True. Stop playing hard to get. He likes you," he says before running off.

I whipped my head back to ask him questions, calling after him but being ignored.

The whole night, I was thinking about what Camavinga said. He and Jude were best friends, surely they would tell each other everything. I also felt bad about thinking about him so much, but I had to find out if he was telling the truth or not.
