The London event wasn't just for footballers, so even just other celebrities would be there, including Hugh Jackman, which I was especially excited for. This time, I wouldn't be hosting or interviewing anyone, but I'd be walking the carpet like everyone else.
It was a three day event of us running around London, and all my dresses were already there, awaiting my arrival. Jude had been avoiding me for a few days after I rejected his offer after driving him to his house, and I don't blame him for it, but he'd started to talk to me more, not ashamed to make eye contact, which I saw as a win.
I was more excited than anyone yo be going back to England after not being there for a while. I was excited to see Bukayo and Amara again and couldn't wait to tell them what had happened over the past few months. And with Kayo being best friends with Jude, he might be able to get some insight.
I was driven to the airport, where half the team was already waiting. Enzo was following closely behind through security, and I saw Naomi eyeing me the whole time. I'd told her I would talk to Jude the day after our awkward interaction, but I never got the chance. Though she just thinks I'm doing it on purpose.
I sat with Aurélien on our flight, and anytime he got the chance to get us alone together, Jude always turned the other way. It hurt me, although I did deserve it, I hoped he wouldn't ignore me for too long.
The first event was tomorrow night, but I would take Enzo and Aurélien to go out with Amara and Kayo.
While getting ready, someone knocked at the door. I'd hoped to stay at Amara's house while we were here, but the organisation insisted on us staying in the same hotel. So I was surprised when I opened the door and saw Amara standing there.
"Oh my God!" I jumped on her, engulfing her in a hug.
"Hey baby sis," She said, hugging me back tightly.
"What are you doing here? I was going to meet you at the restaurant," I said, letting her drop me back to the ground.
"We wanted to surprise you first." She said, looking to the side expectedly, as if waiting for something, but nothing came. Then she rolled her eyes and pulled Kayo from behind the door.
"Starboy!" I yelled and jumped in his arms.
"Don't call me that," he said, but hugged me back, a grin plastered on his face.
"I missed you so much, Davi," he fake cried into my shoulder.
"Missed you too, Kayo," I laughed as I pushed him off, sending him to the floor.
"What's going on in here?" I saw Aurélien's head pop into the room. After seeing Kayo, he got excited and jumped on him, bringing him back to the floor.
That commotion brought Enzo, and eventually Jude into he room as well. Seeing him, I immediately became nervous. Enzo started jumping on Amara, and as they fell, they almost took me with them, but someone pulled me out from under them before I could hit the ground.
I looked up and saw Jude holding my waist. Flustered, I tried to look away but didn't. When he smiled, though, I couldn't help myself. I smiled back, probably looking like an idiot by the way I was blushing, and looked away, turning around and seeing the scene of 4 people lying on the ground, all holding a spot in their body that hurt.
Laughing at the scene, I felt Jude look at me. Wanting a main character moment, I looked back, trying to look as attractive as possible. When eye contact was made, I saw his eyes glimmer, which couldn't have been more attractive.
"You want to go out with us tonight?" I asked. He just nodded, a smile still on his face. Flustered again, I looked away and helped up Amara, who was still stuck on the ground, being as old as she is.
