"I'm gonna eat your hands!"

As much as I absolutely loved listening to my fiance interacting with our children, it was dark outside in the early hours of the morning when he pulled me from a happy dream-filled slumber with whispered words directed to the child he'd snuck in here with us at some point during the night without my knowledge.

"Harry, go back to sleep." I had muttered to him half asleep, forcing my face closer to the pillow as he laid beside me on his back without a care in the world he ignored me completely and continued to speak to our youngest child.

"Nom nom nom." He continued, my eyes squinting open to see him holding her above his head but low enough that he could pretend to eat her tiny chubby hands which caused her to squeal with high-pitched laughter clearly also wide awake like her Daddy.

"H." This time I kicked his leg under the blanket with a grumble of annoyance.

He finally realised he'd disrupted my sleep, turning his head on the pillow with Vienna outstretched above him to see my eyes ever so slightly open so I could see him in the dark room. His hold adjusted with ease on our daughter to turn her so she could see my face, her large baby smile was to die for but it was too early for her to be awake and her sleeping was just starting to perfect. "But it's Christmas, Mumma. Vienna Eloise's first-ever Christmas! She's so excited!" He exclaimed.

"Oh, is she now? Tell her that Santa won't have come if she doesn't sleep until at least six." I muttered exhausted, shutting my eyes as the tiring memories of yesterday filled my mind.

Romeo is old enough that the whole prospect of Christmas is the most magical and amazing thing that's ever existed, her understood last year but now he's sharing the magic with Mabel who's at an age where she can join in, unlike last year when she was smaller than Vienna is now. He woke me and Harry up at the ass crack of dawn, it was certainly too early but we gave in because of how excited he was, making him a big breakfast that he devoured before we were making Christmas cookies at barely six in the morning.

Thankfully, he passed out on the sofa no long after watching The Grinch with us which meant Harry and I got another hour of sleep in us before we had Mabel calling for us but he was in dead sleep so I tended to both our daughters, carrying one on each side of me to allow my fiance to get some more sleep. Something that's come round to bite me in the ass.

When Romeo woke up for a second time it was hot chocolates all around before we got in warmer clothes and made the drive to my parent's house to spend some of the day there with Anne who popped in also. Snow started to pour down an hour before we left and my dad refused to let us leave before it slowed, not without giving Harry a road safety talk and sending us off once all the white fluffy flakes at settled to the ground.

The kids were still full of energy besides Vienna who napped at my parents but Romy and Belle decided to play in the garden with Murphy while Harry and I made dinner in the kitchen. We danced and laughed, swirling one another until Vienna got fed up and jealous which led us to dance with her in my arms, the three of us to Niall's new album that recently was released. His tour was announced for early next year and we're already planning to attend as many shows as possible in support of my brother – I'm so proud of him.
