After scratching his neck Lip didn't say much except it was true that he had nothing to hide now "How did Frank hit on you? If he didn't touch you I maybe won't kill him..." I looked at the ground "I-..." "Oh my fucking God!" pacing again "How did he touch you?" I trailed and poked his side the same way, his face fell with a darkness "I could kill him" he growled "I took care of it, I paid for myself and-..." "That's not the point!" he screamed making me silent. I looked away waiting for him to say something "T-This isn't the first time, I don't want to lose you especially because of him!" I nodded letting him speak he sighed putting his face in his hands "Frank has never been a father, not to me, not to the kids, he tried to be one for Karen... Yet she still did him, now he's trying to flirt with you and fuck... I just can't deal with this bullshit again because of that douchebag" I took in a deep breath.

Exhaling wondering if he had finished what he was saying "I'm not interested in him, I can confidently admit that. I even said it to his face in front of everyone, he's too old, disgusting, obnoxious and not my type. I told him you were better than him, he didn't care for that but I didn't give a fuck." Lip looked into my eyes while I poured out my heart to him "I trust you" he said nodding. I smiled reaching out for his hand to surrender him, he took it hesitantly "I'm still gonna whoop his ass" he muttered into my hair as we hugged. I giggled expecting that from him "I don't blame you" was all I could think of to say to this situation, I really did love Lip Gallagher and if I had to prove I'm not a father hopper so early on I did anyway. We pulled away from the hug looking into each others eyes sitting on the couch now "I love you Y/N" his voice shallow and cold, it made me feel empathy for him "I love you too Lip" he rubbed my hand with his thumb soothing both of us "I understand why you went to the Alibi" I nodded looking away from his eyes "I said I was sorry" he sighed "No... I really do understand why you went" I raised an eyebrow at him waiting for his reason "Well?" he flashed me a tooth with his smirk "You were stressed out about Mandy, you did think I was gonna leave you for her but now you know I won't" I felt a weight off my shoulders.

Lip knew everything about me without having me say it, we had the connection I was dreading since we started talking. Getting attached to him was inevitable now that we were together all I felt was loyalty, love, respect and compassion. Confidence displayed on him as he smiled at me waiting "Oh uh... yeah" he raised an eyebrow the cockiness washed away "You okay?" I nodded looking into his eyes "Just thinking about us" he nodded smiling again "Well we should get Xan out here" "I think she would rather be in the room" he shrugged "Wanna find out?" "Are you trying to avoid this conversation now?" he chuckled "It's that obvious?" yes. I stood up walking over to her door knocking softly "Xan?" she opened the door with a smile "You guys good now?" I giggled "Yeah" letting us in "Wanna watch me play?" Lip and I looked at each other before agreeing. That was the rest of our night watching Xan play on my Xbox until we fell asleep on the couch while she stayed up to get in her bed.

*Lip's P.O.V.*

It was now the night of meeting with Xan's mother to politely ask her to relinquish her parental rights, we established a meet up point while Y/N and I made it we weren't able to put in the lock in her window due to all the arguments lately. What Y/N didn't know was I didn't schedule this meeting, her mother got out of a car holding money looking happy until she saw us "The fuck do you want?" her attitude high as she started to walk away"10 grand" I said making her stop in her tracks slowly turn back around "I give you 10 grand and you agree to stay away from Xan" Y/N looking around anxious to see if anyone was coming by "But you have to sign some papers" she started walking towards me "What kind of papers?" she asked "You relinquish your parental rights... and make us Xan's legal guardians" my tone flat like her. I pulled out a letter while he mouth was open in shock "10 grand" I repeated "take it or leave it" Y/N looked at me nervously "Can I see the papers?" Xan's mom asked, I handed her the orange envelope in which she took out a document reading it starting to cry "You need to sign it in front of a notary, to make it legal" Y/N's voice piped up "Oh no Lip..." "We can go in the morning" I told her mother before we heard "Mom?" we turned and Y/N ran over to her trying to keep her away "Your supposed to be at home why'd you break out?!" she yelled until Xan ran up to her mother crying "I knew you'd come back for me" I watched feeling my heart sink and my blood boil.

Watching her mother kiss her forehead was one of the hardest things to see, I dropped the envelope taking Y/N with me hearing her yell as we got far enough "She was gonna sign you over to us anyway!" I told her to hush as we ran back to her house. Tears forming in my eyes fighting them back made my throat hurt until I just gave up, Y/N was crying as well as we got home she grabbed the keys "I can't believe this shit" she whimpered as the door unlocked "Me neither" I said walking into the place feeling empty all over again. Xan won't be there to run up to us excitedly, all the effort I put in to keep her around just to be spit on in my face. I walked into her room seeing the window open unhinged easy for a 10 year old to get out of while the bushes on the first floor as a cushion, I shook my head angrily closing in wanting to punch something. Looking around the room I noticed she took her stuff with her, the Xbox was off, some of Y/N's stuff was missing as well. I screamed punching the couch as hard as I could, yelling as loud as possible, pain too overwhelming that I had to let it out.
