It had been a bitch trying to explain how Perdita's leg had broken again, but the local know it all Kristine who was in charge of fixing her leg didn't really seem to care which was more then Perdita could say for a very suspicious Mrs. Berkshire.
"I've got my eyes on you, child" Mrs. Berkshire hissed and Perdita just rolled her eyes at this.
"With all due respect Mrs. Berkshire can you leave, you have no evidence of her being out of her dorm out of hours other than 'the word' of your familiar" Kristine snapped
Mrs. Berkshire narrowed her eyes at her, and Kristine met that steely gaze with a glare of her own. After a while Mrs. Berkshire sighed and hobbled off in an annoyed manner.
Kristine sighed, muttering to herself.
Perdita didn't catch all of what she said, but it went somewhere along the lines of:
"Gods forbid if the school doesn't fire her I will"
Or something like that.
Kristine then turned to her familiar, "hey Wulf can you help out a bit?"
The large fox of fire grumbled, yipping something at Kristine before stretching and falling back asleep."Your familiar's name is Wulf?" Perdita questioned
"That's what he said it was" Kristine replied, throwing a wrench at the sleeping ball of fire. Wulf in response breathed a plume of smoke into her face causing Kristine to cough a lot, her breaths were short and she was wheezing as she grabbed at her backpack.
Realizing the severity of the situation, Perdita stumbled over to her, yanking the backpack closer to Kristine while K started attacking Wulf.
Perdita didn't really know what was going on, but they knew a dangerous situation when they saw it.
