Me and Aris were ready to escape. We were in my room wich was closer to the boys room and the med wing than Aris's. Not gonna lie I was scared a little bit and Aris sensed that.
"Hey, Le we are going to be ok, alright?" he hugged me.
"I hope so too Aris, but I don't know, the world outside is destroyed and these creatures cranks are everywhere. But I have faith." i said trying to be strong.
"Good. Now c'mon we get the boys and Theresa and we get the hell out."
Here we go.
Minho's Pov
I sat on my bed waiting for Aris and Leah to come and get us. It's weird but everytime I think about Leah I feel some... things in my stomac and this feeling of ... I don't shucking know. Since I first saw her at the canteen I can't stop looking at her. I have this feeling to protect her and be by her side. I trust her even tough I met her for a day. Something tells me that she needs someone to confort her, to hold her and tell her everything is going to be alright.
She went through something in the maze that left her with a hole in the heart. I feel it. And I want to know what is it.
Also what she was hiding under her sweatshirt because when Newt found out about Sonya, his sister, he took her arm and she quickly hide it with the sweatshirt. It has to be something.
"Do we really trust them?" it was Winston
"I do" I said and Thomas and Fry nodded.
"I wasn't sure of that but now that I know i have a bloody sister, I have to find her. And yeah, I can trust them." Newt said. Thank God.
My thoughts were stopped when they arrived from the vents in our room. "Hey guys." said Aris.
"We have to go now, we saw Janson coming this way with some syringes. He found out." Leah said and I saw the slight fear in her eyes. The fear to end up like her friends Rachel and Jane.
"Ok let's go now!" Thomas said "To the med wing."
"Great. We're going on a trip." the boys laughed.
Aris went with Winston to the nearest exit we know and I stayed with the rest. We bumped into a doctor and we took her with us to the med wing. Then some fucking guards started to shot at us. We turned around to run buy Minho ran in his directions.
"Minho that's the wrong way dumbass!" i shout
He took him down and took his gun with electricity. Damn.
"Shit Minho." Newt said shocked.
"Where is she!? Where is she!?" Thomas shout at the other medics in the med wing.
I saw a bed behind a curtain and I went to see who it was. It was a girl with long brown hair. Theresa.
"Hey,hey wake up we have to go." I shake her.
"Who are you?" she asked
"I'm Leah and I'm here with my friend Aris and your friends. We have to go now."
Thomas came to her "Hey Theresa come here we have to go." "Thomas.." he take her in his arms.
He and Newt brake a glass wall and we jumped over and ran.
"Down the hall guys go!" I told them.
Thomas tried the card I gave him to open the door but it wasn't working. Shit. Aris come get us now please.
"Thomas!" we turned around and there was Janson with some guards. Minho stood in front of me, protecting me. I was glad for that.
"Open the door Janson!" Open the door!"
"I can't do that. I see you guys have two new friends here." All turned to me and I came into his view.
"I always knew you didn't trust this place,Leah. You and Aris always knew that."
"And I was right about all this shit!"
"I'm sorry about Rachel,Jane....Lisa" he said her name with a sick smile.
"DON'T YOU DARE SAY HER NAME!" I was furious. The others looked at me confused. I didn't told them about her yet.
"Thomas I can't let you leave. You won't make it to the Right Arm alive. Especially with all the cranks and the high temperature of the Scorch."
"Open the door NOW." Thomas shouted.
The door light turned green and opened. We turned around and we saw Aris and Winston. "Hey guys."
"Aris!" I hugged him tight "It was the damn time you came to save us."
"Let me guess WCKD is good?" Thomas said still facing Janson.
"Yeah good my ass" the rest laughed at me.
"COME ON THOMAS!"
"Thomas COME ON!"
He ran at us just in time before the door closed. And we left.
We did it. We ran through the sand storm away from WCKD. I almost fell but Minho caught me in time.
"Come on we don't want to lose you." he took my arm.
Theresa found a building and went there. "Theresa wait!" I screamed.
We were now into an abandoned mall or something. We took a breath and we calmed down.
"Are you okay?" Minho asked me with worry.
"Yeah i'm ok, running isn't my favorite hobby." I smiled at him trying to catch my breath.
"We have to go now!" Thomas said.
"Thomas wait! Tell me what's going on and who are they?" Theresa asked.
They all looked at me and Aris. I take a breath and sat down, Aris next to me. Then all of them took a seat next to us in a circle.
"Okay so I'm Leah, this is Aris. We are from maze B called the Forest. That place is still WCKD, we never escaped. Me and Aris saw that Thomas was thinking the same thing and we teamed up and escape, but not without you." I smiled at her
She smiled back "I'm Theresa. Thank you for doing this. And finally a girl in the group, too many boys." She laughed slightly and I laughed at that.
"I can't imagine. Out maze was all girls. Until my dear friend here." I took Aris under my arm and he smiled.
"Oh shut up Le, you love me."
"Of course A."
"Are you guys like a couple?" Minho looked at us kind of... angry?
Me and Aris laughed so hard I almost peed my pants. The others looked at us funny.
"Hell no. We are like brother and sister." Aris nodded still smiling.
"Oh.. ok,sorry." Minho gave us a little smile.
"Where we are going to?" Newt asked
"I-I don't know.." Thomas said.
Before Newt could explode I said fast
"To the Right Arm. Remember Janson said about that?" they nod.
"The Right Arm is kind of an army. They are against WCKD and they hide in the mountains. They saved some kids from here a time ago. And I think they also took Sonya and Harriet. They can help us."
"People. In the mountains. Mountain people. Really Leah?" Newt asked
"They are our only chance Newt. Maybe Sonya and Harriet are with them.." I looked at him pleading.
"Okay Leah, I trust you." he finally said.
