We arrived at our new home. The Safe Heaven.
Thomas eventually woke up a few days after. He told us how Janson killed Ava. He also wasn't immune. That was a shock. Oh well...
We started to build more tents and stuff. I told Sonya Harriet and Aris the full story since we left to the city. They were shocked to say at least. Sonya tanked me a milion times for saving Newt.
We are now at the first bonfire here. I always wanted to see the sea. Now I will every day.
"We went through so much. All of us. We lost people. Many of them. WCKD took them from us. The Scorch did. But not anymore. We fought all this things to get here. The flare is gone and all the danger is gone. On this rock -he pointed behind him at the big rock- we will engrave a name. The person who you sadly lost and cared about the most. This is for them -he raised the glass of water and so did we- AND WELCOME TO THE SAFE HEAVEN!!!"
We all cheered. I sat between Minho and Newt. Minho kissed me. "I love you." "I love you too Leah." He then went to engrave a name on the stone. We all did that after.

After I cooked with Fry the breakfast I went with Minho on a walk along the sea. His hand in mine.

"Of course not. It's mine now." I chuckled.
We stopped at some point and we sat down on the sand, him hugging me from behind.
"We're finally free." he exhaled
"Yes. I can't believe it. I never thanked you."
"For?"
"Trusting me, since the beginning." i turned to him.
"And I never thanked you either."
"For?" I smiled
"Trusting me, since the beginning." he smiled at me. I laughed. We kissed then.
"Thank you, Minho."
"Thank you, Leah."
