We were tied above the crank pit.
Upside down. Stomac, please don't betray me.
"Maybe I can reach the rope". Thomas tried.
"How are you feeling hermanos?" Jorge came into the view.
"Like I could throw up every second.." I said
"Please don't throw up Leah because I would too." Theresa said.
"My men want to send you back to WCKD. They learn how to not miss an opportunity."
"If you tell me what you know about the Right Arm, maybe we could make a deal." Jorge said and then he dropped us a bit more. We screamed.
"Okay okay, they are against WCKD, and that they took some kids from there and they hide in the mountains. That's it." Thomas said.
Jorge is about to say something when a big guy came here. "Are you ok Jorge?"
"Just chatting with my new friends. Don't worry guys, we will send you where you belong."
"Hang tight!" and he left.
"Fucking hell..." i said and Minho laughed.
"Language Leah" Newt said. "Oh shut up blondie don't make me throw up on you."
We finally managed to escape with the help of Minho who pushed Theresa to the ropes. But guess who arrived here.
Yep, fucking WCKD. We can't take break I swear...
We were about to leave when the guy from earlier held a gun at us. He was with Janson. Fucking traitor...
"Come with me now! Janson I have them, do not shoot us. Let's go!" He talked to him with a communication device.
"Don't do this, please ok? Just put the gun down." I slowly take a step forward.
"Leah... get away from him." Minho warned.
I then smacked the gun from him and punched him, but he pushed me away and held the gun again at me.
"You bitch-"
Boom. A gunshot. I was in front of the group and they taught I was shot. But then the guy dropped dead on the floor, behind him was Brenda.
"Nice move girl."
"Nice punch." She smiled at me.
"Are you insane?! you could've die!" Minho hugged me.
"But i'm still here." I smiled and turn to the dead guy "Who's the bitch now?"
We followed Brenda to Jorge and he showed us a rope down the window with some straps to hold on. That was his plan B.
"You gotta be kidding me." Fry said.
"If you want to get to the Right Arm follow meee." And he was out of the window. We followed one by one.
Except Thomas and Brenda. Shit.
"Where are they!?"
"Don't worry hermana. They are okay, Brenda know the way to Marcus, Thomas is safe with her." Then the whole building exploded.
Please be alright, please.
"You ok are you hurt?" I asked Minho taking his hand. He looked at me for a bit to long before he hugged me.
"Thank you for protecting us from that guy."
"Hey it's ok, we're basically family now right?"
"Yeah, we are." he chuckled.
"Are you a couple or what?" Jorge asked and the rest looked at us amused.
"What no!" We said in unison. Still holding hands. Until we let go.
"Tell yourself that to guys." Newt said and winked at us.
Stupid blondie. However, Minho blushed and it was kind of cute to see him now hiding his face from my sight. I smiled, took his hand and follow the others to find a car to get to this Marcus.
Minho's Pov
Jorge was driving and Newt called the shotgun. I was behind him with Leah next to me and behind us were Fry Theresa and Aris.
Leah's head was on my lap and she was sleeping. I know how tired she is. Didn't sleep since Winston... she blame herself for that because in the past she couldn't save her sister. But it wasn't her fault. Not even a little bit. I saw how worried she got and how she took care of Winston with his wounds. She always looked for others since we left WCKD even though she didn't know us.
She took her jacket off before falling asleep. Jorge looked at her in his small mirror and his face dropped.

"For how long she did that to herself?" Jorge asked quietly.
"For 3 years...it was before her sister Lisa died in the maze." Aris told us.
"Her sister?" Jorge asked
"Yeah her sister died into the maze and Leah who was a medic back then tried to save her but she died anyway. Then she tried to end it..." Aris continued and we were all silent.
"She still doing that?"
"No. She stopped a while ago. She stayed clean for Lisa." Aris finished
"She is brave. I saw the look in her eyes." Jorge said then he turned to me " Keep her safe hermano, you kids need eachother."
"Since he met her he didn't left her side so don't worry about that." Newt said with a genuine smile.
"That's right." I said looking at her. She looks so peaceful. Now was the time to take a better look at the scars. They look so harsh on her beautiful skin. I touched a few of them. Then her cheek and I left my hand there.
These are battle scars Leah.
And they show how shucking strong you are.
