We came back to Laurence and the rest of the group and I couldn't help but notice that Newt keeps holding his right arm weirdly. Like he was in pain. I offered to take a look at that but he refused saying he's fine. Something is off.
"There has to be another way in." Thomas keeps saying.
"This is the girl who betrayed us correct? Same dick?" Brenda said
"I like her." Gally said
"She's the reason all this shit happened, what the fuck Thomas. Why do you take her side now?" I asked
"I also like her." Gally said
"You're afraid your little girlfriend would get hurt? huh?" Newt asked rather angry. We were all taken aback.
"What-?" Thomas asked.
"She's the reason Mary died, Aris and MY SISTER were taken. She's the reason Minho is missing in the first place."
"Newt-"
"She's the reason Leah almost cutted herself again because of that and what you don't want to do this because of her!? Newt screamed.
"DON'T LIE TO ME,TO US!" he pinned Thomas against a wall.
"Newt stop!-" I took his arm
"LEAVE ME ALONE! he turned and pushed me making me fall next to a table and hit my side. I yelped and Brenda rushed to me.
Newt calmed down seeing what he caused and let go Thomas.
"I-I'm sorry Thomas... Leah I.... I'm sorry. I'm sorry." he left the room.
I got up and the guys checked me. "I'm okay it's just bruised. Thomas." I caught his attention "Go after him."
"But-"
"Just go please. Something is wrong with him."
"Come with me please." he took my hand.
"Okay. C'mon."
We found him sitting on the edge off the balcony.
"I'm so sorry guys. Is your back okay Leah?"
"I'm fine don't worry. What gotten into you Newt..?" I sit to his right and Thomas to his left.
"I guess I can't hide it anymore, you were worried about my arm anyway Le." he showed us his right arm. Black veins were covering his arm slowly. He got the flare.
My world was spinning. My eyes never left his arm. No.....no please.
"Newt.. why didn't you told us!?" I got up angry.
"It wouldn't made a difference. Leah, now Minho is more important to save not me."
"How can you say that Newt? Yes Minho is important, but so are you." I took his hand
"We will save you man. I promise." Thomas said
"No more deaths Newt." I told him the he hugged us both.
"Okay guys.."
When we came back Newt told the others the news. Fry was devastated. I know this remind him of Winston... and me too.
Gally brought me and Brenda some new jackets.
"What was that about? Newt saying something about you cutting yourself? It's okay if you don't want to tell me-" I cut him off by taking my old jacket off. He stared at my arms and for the first time I wasn't ashamed about the view. His eyes softened. He gave me then the new jacket.

"I had a sister in the maze,Lisa. She died from the injuries caused by the monsters in the maze. I was a medic and I tried to save her but I couldn't. I was cutting myself before that and after her death i tried to end everything. Sonya saved me before I did something. In the 3rd month since Minho was taken I tried to do that again but I fought the urge to do it. For Minho... and for my sister."
"I'm sorry about her." Gally told me. I was glad he didn't judge me.
"It's alright, we all have someone we miss. They are now making the sky look beautiful."
Thomas and Gally went to kidnap the bitch. I don't think anyone was ready to see her again.
Well without wanting to kill her.
They placed her into a chair in front of us. Then they took the mask off of her face.
"Gally?" she looked shocked at him and then at us all. I glared at her so hard that she looked away from me.
"Where is Minho?" Gally asked
"Together with another 28 kids at level 3..."
"I can make that work" Brenda said
"You guys don't understand you need a finger print to enter every room-"
"Well we don't necessarely need her, just her finger right?" I took a small knife and went to her but Thomas stopped me. "Leah.."
"I'm sure she's done worse to Minho." I glared at him.
"Just leave her.."
"You will help us also with the tags. You know 'property of WCKD" Thomas told her.
She sighed "Fine.."
"Is he alive, is he okay?" I asked her standing in front of her.
"Y-yeah. Yeah he's alright." she stutter
"Does he.. does he remember me still?"
She looked at me guilty "Yes, Leah, he thinks about you everytime. About all of you."
"You know I tried to understand why you did this, some parts I get them but still you chose the wrong team. And it's not about me. It's about the boys" i said looking at the guys. "They're your family, you knew them for longer than me. And you still did it."
I turned her head to the guys "Take a look at them." then I turned her head to me "If something happens to one of them tonight, I promise you I will fucking kill you with my bare hands. So think about it really well who's side are you on." I told her in a low voice.
I turned to the rest and they were kind of shocked and.. proud. "Leave me at the end with the tags."
"Are you ok-?"
"I need a minute." i left the room. God I miss you so much Minho. I can't wait to see you again.
