15. Their friend Gally is...alive?

We went to the part of the city where were other people waiting to get in. In the crowd I keep seeing some masked men with guns. One of them stared at our group for to long.

Then some guns from up the wall started shooting at us and we ran. The masked men took us away in some vans, we couldn't fight them.

I was in the van with Thomas and Brenda, the others in the second one. The guy with red mask keep starring at us. At me.

"Hey, stay calm we will find him okay?" Thomas told me, seeing me nervous.

"Do you think he forgot about me? i asked

"Why do you think that?"

"I don't know Thomas, I know they tortured him. Physically and mentally... i don't know.."

"Hey, he still remember you don't worry. He love you too much to forget that." Thomas took my hand.

"Thank you." I smiled. I saw the masked guy stared at me. "Stop starting."

We arrived at some place. They let us out.

"Where are they!? Where are they!?" Jorge jumped a man.

"Right here! Right here!"

"Okay calm down we're on your side!" The masked guy said.

"Okay who the hell are you guys!?" Thomas asked him. We all waited.

He took his mask off...

"Hey greenie." What the fuck? Greenie was a slang word from their maze. How-

"Gally?" Thomas asked shocked and Fry and Newt were shocked also. I froze for a minute. This is the guy that got stung and killed the little kid, Chuck from their maze. Minho told me he put a spear through his chest. What the hell!?

"No way." Newt said.

"Do you guys see him too right?" I asked the rest unsure.

"Do you know him boys?" Jorge said

"Yeah..he's an old friend from the maze." Fry breathed.

Thomas then punched him and Gally fell down.

"Hey hey calm down alright?" Newt held him back.

"He killed Chuck!"

"I know I remember that. I also remember that he was stung and he wasn't thinking straight."

Thomas left him alone and he stood up.

"How.. we watched you die!" Newt said

"No, you left me to die." Ouch.. i mean he was basically dead I don't blame them. "What the hell are you doing here?"

"WCKD has Minho. We're here for him." I said stepping out.

"Who are you?" Gally asked eyeing me up.

"Leah, from maze B."

"You his girlfriend?"

"No, i'm his fucking cousin. Take a guess."

He chuckled "Yup, same level of sarcasm."

"I can help you with that." Gally told us.

"I'm not going anywhere with you." Thomas the dumbass said.

"We didn't came here for nothing Thomas, please." I put a hand on his shoulder. He looked at me with a understanding look.

"Alright.." he sighed.

"After the maze, a group that was going to the city took me, patched me up,saving my life. I'm here since then. Alright I'm taking you to my boss. Just a favor, don't stare to much." Why would we do that..?

We got to a room and a man was there with his back to us. "Laurence they're here." Gally told him. He turned around and I understood why he said don't stare.

He was a half crank. With a bag of bliss injected in his veins to keep him away for fully turning.

Well shit.

"Who are they Gally?" Laurence asked starring at us.

"They are some old friends. They are looking for a way into the city, to WCKD. This is possible only with Thomas."

"Why is that?" He approached Thomas slowly.

"Do you know who I am Thomas? I'm a business man. What makes you think I will help you?"

"Because we both want something that's in the city." I stepped out next to Thomas. "Leah.."

"Let her speak Gally." Laurence said. "What do I need girl that is so important?" he got closer to me trying to intimidate me. My friend, that won't work.

"We can give you more time. A reserve of bliss worth a life time. Looks like you're clock is ticking." I stared him death in the eyes.

He smiled at me. "You're feisty. I like that. Alright then, Gally you cand take with you 3 people, no more."

"We have a deal?" he asked me pulling out his hand for me to shake it.

"Yes we have." I shook his hand firmly.

Gally took me Thomas and Newt. We arrived in the actual city. It's full of lights. Many people with masks. We learned that now the virus is air bone. Fuck.

Gally took us to a towel. "Look. I know what I did to Chuck.. I see his face every time I close my eyes. And I'm sorry for that but I wasn't thinking straight. You don't have to forgive me. Just to work with me." he said looking at us.

"We know." Newt said.

"Where do you know them?" Gally asked me.

"She's the reason we escaped WCKD after we were out of the maze. She and her friend helped us escape." Thomas said for me.

"And with Minho? How?"

"You should see them. Minho fell in love since he first saw her. Took them some time before realizing that they are bloody perfect for each other." Newt smirked at me. I rolled my eyes at him smiling.

"How long was he taken?"

" Almost 7 months." I sighed. "I'm sorry." he looked at me.

"It's okay. I'm not the only one who suffered." I said looking in front of me. "Oh by the way, Newt has a sister."

Gally was shocked. "How..?"

"Yeah her name is Sonya, she's from my maze."

"I missed some things huh.."

"Don't worry when this shit is all done you will have time to talk guys." I laughed.

" I know the way in, but you won't like it." he said

"What?"
"Take a look."

We then saw the way in. And my face dropped.

Theresa. She's our fucking way in.
