11. If I knew, I would've hold you tighter

Minho's Pov

After we ate and changed me Thomas Fry and Newt were sitting on some rocks where we could see the whole camp. Thomas told me that Leah went to see Brenda and they talked a bit about their lost siblings.

Now she's sitting with Aris Harriet and Sonya talking about everything that happen since they were separated. She's smiling brightly at something Sonya said. I could watch her all day like that.

"You're starring shank." Fry said beside me and they laughed.

"Let the man admire his girlfriend dude." Thomas rolled his eyes.

"I have to admit it's bloody adorable to see they like that." Newt chuckled.

"Shut up you shanks." I said and they laughed.
I was still starring at her. Until she find us with her sight and she got up and made her way to us.

Her hair was falling beautifully down her shoulders and her nose was a but red from the cold air. "Hey guys!" she smiled at us.

"Hey Leah." we all say.

We stayed in eachothers arms while we were telling some more stories about our mazes and the people we wish could see all this. Alby, Chuck, Ben, Jeff, Winston, Jane, Rachel, Lisa... shuck even Gally. Leah heard the story about him and Chuck and even her told Thomas that it wasn't his fault for being stung and for... shooting poor Chuck. I know if Chuck was alive he would've love Leah. I know that.
I was playing with her fingers while her back was on my chest.

"Hey, Thomas, you should probably go check Theresa. Ever since we go here she's acting off." Leah told him. He then went to Theresa who was far from us starring into distance.

"I know we made it and we're finally here, but I have a bad feeling about something." Leah said and we looked at her.

"Why is that?" I asked kissing her temple.

"I don't know what is it but I know something will happen. Something bad..."

Oh boy she was right. Because not even after 10 minutes we heard it. The bergs and helicopters.

WCKD is here. Leah was right but still nothing prepared us for that.

Chaos. Chaos everywhere. I had this bad feeling since I went to talk to Sonya Aris and Harriet. But this.... how the fuck this happen?

Me and the boys were with Harriet and Vince at a truck and we helped him with the munition and shooting WCKD guards. I saw Aris and Sonya far away but no sight of Brenda and Jorge or Theresa and Thomas and that scared me a bit.

My thoughts were interrupted by Vince's yells.

"OH SHIT!" he shout and we didn't have time to react because a small bomb with electricity came flying at us.

"AAHH" we were hit by it. For a moment I couldn't feel anything. We were put in a line then by guards and there it was. Janson. That asshole.
I was put next to Minho and they started to scan us. B2 Sonya B3 Harriet B4 Aris A6 Fry A5 Newt A7 Minho B5 me.

"Well well Leah. Looks like your gut feeling helped you the first time you were at WCKD, but not this time." Janson said smiling at me.

"FUCK YOU—"

I didn't finish because the asshole punched me in the face and I fell next to Minho. The rest yelled for me.

"You asshole! Leah you okay?" Minho helped me up. My nose was bleeding a bit but I was okay.

"You should control you're little girlfriend next time A7." Janson spat at him. Minho glared back.

"Where is Thomas? Come out boy or your little friend here will suffer another punches." He said looking at me.

"Right here, just leave her alone." Thomas came into view.

"Thomas.." Janson punched him in the stomac. We all yelled. They put him next to me.

"I'm sorry-"
"Hey not your fault Leah" he saw my bleeding nose "I'm sorry-"
"Not your fault Thomas" I smiled.

"How did this happen... i don't understand" I said

Thomas froze next to me. "Leah I'm sorry but—"

"Bring her in we got enough of them." Janson said. They were bringing Ava Paige. Great

She arrived and looked at us all. "Hello Thomas." she said. Then someone else came into view next to her. "I'm glad you're safe dear."

My face dropped. I swear the time stopped for a minute. Thomas looked at us with sad eyes.

Theresa. She is the one that betrayed us.

"What the hell?" the boys said

"Theresa?" I said with a tremor in my voice. She saw me and I could see the tears in her eyes. Now she's crying?

"I'm sorry Leah, guys I-"

"Don't even try." I cutt her off.

Paige said that this was her only condition and they gave her memories back and all this reasons that didn't make any excuse for what she did. Not me in special but to the guys. She knew them longer than me. Fucking hell they were her family. Mary than talked to Ava saying that at least her consciousness is clear. Then we heard a gun shot.

They shot her. Janson shot her. My legs almost gave out if Minho wasn't there.

"NO NOOO MARY!!" Vince screamed. The love of his life died in his arms. I had to look away.

Then the guards took people. Sonya and Aris. Me and Harriet tried to get them but the boys held us. They wanted to take us too but Thomas had other plan and he took out a small bomb.

"Stay back let them al go NOW!"
"You know I can't do that I had to find a cure! Do you want the rest to die?" Ava tried.

That's it! I went to Thomas and put a hand on his shoulder. Then slowly Minho Newt and Fry came to. Minho took my hand.

"Do it." I said
"We're ready."
"We're with you Thomas"

Before he could do that a truck went into a helicopter. It was Jorge. I knew him and Brenda won't leave us.

Again, chaos. We took the guns and started shooting at every guard. But they were to many. I went to run away with the boys behind a car when I saw Minho in front of us shooting at guards.

"Minho come on!" I yelled

"Go hide, go!" We locked eyes and I ran into his arms and kissed him.

Minho's Pov

After she kissed me and pulled apart it hit me. The wave of electricity hit me hard.

"NO" she tried to grab me but the boys held her back.
"NO LET ME GO, MINHOO" I saw her thrashing around trying to escape from Jorge's arms while Fry and Newt held Thomas.

They took me in the berg and I also saw Aris and Sonya. I took a last look at her while she still tried to escape from Jorge. She locked eyes with me and I read her lips.

"I love you" she breathed and my eyes wide in shock I told told her the same thing.

"I love you." Then the berg flew away. Oh Leah, if I knew this was the last time we see, I wouldn't let you go. Never.

He told me he love me back. He really did. I collapsed on the floor still in Jorge's arms, crying my eyes out. That was the moment I broke. Lisa, Rachel, Jane, Winston, Mary, Theresa's betrayal, Aris, Sonya.

Minho. They took him from me. They took the boy that I learned to love. They took the boy that finally made me happy again. They took a piece of my heart.

Only if I knew this would happen, I would've hold you tighter.
