When I woke up I was still in the berg on the table. Vince bandaged my arm and I don't feel any pain anymore. The others came to check on me.
"Hey how are you feeling?" Minho said kissing my head.
"Better." I smiled. "Where is Newt is he okay?"
"Yeah he woke up but started to attack and Gally injected him with a serum again." He caressed my cheek. He then kissed me. "I believed that I'll never going to see you again I swear.."
"Hey, I'm right here. I'm not leaving anywhere."
"Hey guys we found them!" Fry shouted.
"Can you stand up?" Minho helped me
"Yeah I'm alright."
We all went to the ramp of the berg and we saw them. Thomas and Theresa. On top of the flaming building. Something was off with him.
"He was shot!" I tell them. Shit Thomas...
"Come on Theresa bring him!" We tried to take Thomas from her arms but Jorge couldn't get us close to much.
"Throw him then jump!" Minho shout
She threw him and the boys caught him. Thank God. Thomas gave me the serum for Newt. I rushed to him and gave him. The black veins immediately started to disappear.
I came back to the rest. Theresa was still there. What the hell?
"Jump!"
"Theresa jump!"
"C'mon!"
"Theresa jump!" I shout.
She looked at me. I mouthed to her "Please come with us. We forgive you." I started to tear. She helped us so much even after what she did. I forgave her the moment I heard she made the cure for Newt.
She smiled at me and mouthed "Thank you for everything."
Then the building fell. And she fell with it.
"No!" I tried to go for her but Minho held me back.
"NOOO" Thomas shouted. Then we flew away from there. Thomas passed out and Vince patched him up.
We did it. WCKD is gone. Janson is dead. Ava Paige is dead. Theresa is dead... I'm sorry for her, I really am. She believed she didn't deserve to live and come with us.
All this is over. We survive. We won.
On our way back to Sonya Harriet Aris and the rest Newt woke up. He's now flare free. The rest told him what happen. Then he stared at me.
"You... you saved me?"
"Yeah kind of. You don't have the flare anymore. I wasn't gonna let you die like that. Not now." I said to him.
"You got shot on you way to save me..."
"And I'm fine now Newt. It was worth it." I smiled.
He ran to me and almost knocked me out with the hug. "I don't even know how to thank you. Oh God, Leah" he sobbed into my neck. The others looked at us smiling.
"You don't have to. I would do this for every person here. No matter what. I saved you like I promised." i said to him.
"Even if you couldn't save Lisa or Winston, they're proud of you. Trust me." he told me.
"I know. I know." I smiled.
Then I went to sit next to Minho. He took my hand. "Can you believe it? It's all over." he said.
"Yeah. We can breathe now. Thomas will wake up soon. I'm sorry about Theresa... I know she didn't think that she deserved to come with us but... I forgave her."
"Yeah?"
"Yeah. The moment she trusted me to test my idea of the cure. She also saved Newt."
"She's in a better place now." He kissed my head.
"Yeah."
