Chapter 6

There was something in the sky. It was fast, and heading down to the ground, the flames lit up the dark sky. At first, I thought it was a shooting star, but the closer it got, the more I could tell that it was a dropship sent from the Ark. I put on my shoes and headed out from the dropship.

"Did you guys see that?" I asked a group of people standing outside, "why aren't we heading to it yet?"

"Bellamy told us to wait until morning." I was sceptical of that, so I decided to go to his room.

"Bla-" I opened his door to go in, I saw a naked girl lying there who rushed to cover herself. Her name was Roma, I believe. For some reason, I felt angered. Not at the Roma, but at Bellamy. Why? I haven't a clue.

"Ever heard of knocking, bitch." She scowled. Okay, I'm angry at her now.

"Ever heard of decency, bitch." I retorted "Where Blake?" I asked.

"Why is that any of your business?" She said.

"Because it is." I said, "now where is he?"

"I don't know, he left a while ago." I knew he was going to the dropship, definetly with some sort of a malicious intent.

I left the tent and headed towards the dropship to try and stop him from whatever he was going to do. I entered the forest alone, the sun was supposed to rise soon. So hopefully it should be getting a bit lighter and easier.

I stumbled through the forest when I heard a loud thump, something had landed from the tree. I turned around to see the guy, the blue eyed one from the cave. His hands were up in some sort of surrender, "I'm not actually going to hurt you. I just wanted to speak to you." He said.

"How did you know I was going to be here?" I asked him.

"Well, I saw the rocket land. I knew you probably went looking for it. Luckily you were alone or I would've had to kill someone." He said nonchalantly, I widened my eyes in shock.

"I was only joking." I looked down in relief, "I know I had a bad first impression, but my friend was bloodied and hurt, I could only assume the worst. Plus you came from the sky, how am I too trust you?"

"We're alone in the forest, how am I supposed to trust that you won't kill me like you threatened to do before?" I said to him.

"You don't have to trust me. I'm actually not so scary. Do you not remember me shooting that guy for you." He recalled.

"Yes, Murphy. Why did you shoot him?" I asked.

"It was a peace offering. After Izzy told me what happened I just had to come see you again. But you were with your people. It was my way of apologising." He said, Izzy must've been the name of the girl I helped.

"Cute." I said, "but very violent." I laughed.

"You sky people claiming you're against violence when it's your people that are always turning on each other, Cassie." He said. Sadly it was true.

"Ah, you know my name. Am I going to get one."

"Eliyas."  He told me

"That's a beautiful name, Eliyas."

"As is yours, Cassie."

"Cassie isn't my name, it's short for Cassandra." I told him.

"That's even more perfect." He smiled at me with his teeth on display.

"A women like you shouldn't be this deep into the forest alone." He said.

"A women like me?" I asked.
