We had transported Lincon to the dropship, and we managed to carry him onto the second level. We tied his limbs to the walls so that he couldn't move. He was still unconscious at this point. "His leg's still bleeding." Bellamy said.
I reached into my bag to see if there was anything we could use. I found a large bandage. I kneeled beside his leg, wrapping it around his leg tightly, "It'll stop the bleeding. It's the best we can do for now." I shrugged. I began tying a knot with the two ends of the bandage.
"Cassie!" I heard Bellamy shout. Lincons body jolted forward, making me quickly recline. He growled, biting the air. I had jumped up and got a way from him. Bellamy pulled me back by waist, "You okay?" I nodded.
"I'll go get Clarke. You two stay here." He said. We nodded as he left the hatch.
I looked at Octavia. She stared at Lincon longingly. Her eyes were watery. I sat next to her, holding her hand, which she squeezed. "Cassie. What if we can't save him?"
"Octavia, we have Clarke. If there's anyone that can save him, it's her. Have some faith." She nodded at me.
"Can I hug you?" She asked me.
"You don't even have to ask." She hugged me tightly. Like she was so afraid to let go.
"Thanks, Cassie." She said into my hair, I just shook my head.
We sat in silence for a few minutes. Octavia had closed her eyes and leaned on my side. I know she wasn't asleep. It was impossible to sleep through Lincon's loud groans.
"Shut up!" I shouted at him. He looked at me and tugged harder on the chains that bound him. I almost thought the chains would give in by how much pressure he used.
He tugged harder and harder, and grunted louder and louder, the chains began to rattle. Octavia got up from me, watching her boyfriend curiously and afraid. The chain gave in. "Lincon!" She shouted.
He broke one hand free, and we both quickly got up. He immediately broke open the other and leapt at us. "Shit." I said. He didn't give us enough time to react when he grabbed Octavia by her hair.
She struggled to get out of his grip, grunting in pain. I ran up to him, elbowing his face and punching him. He winced in pain, only getting more angrier. He threw Octavia to the side and grabbed my shirt, hitting my head with his. The pressure threw me backwards. He tried coming for me again, gritting his teeth and letting out animalistic sounds, but noticed that his foot was chained.
He turned around, untying himself, whilst I looked around for a weapon. There was an electric baton. I grabbed it and ran towards him. He hit it out of my hand, I saw that there was a dagger in his hand. I tried jumping away from him. He was slicing the air in an attempt to hurt me. But I wasn't fast enough he scraped me with the knife.
I kicked the knife out of his hand and grabbed it. He threw me onto the floor in such a short time, leaving a heavy punch on my face. My mouth started to bleed as pain erupted from my jaw. I groaned out in pain. It was inaudible because of Lincon's incessant screaming.
I flipped the knife and slashed him on the thigh, making him pull away in pain. I planted a heavy kick on his chest. Octavia appeared from behind him. She hit him on the head with some sort of paddle. She hit him again, knocking him out. And he landed on top of me, "Thanks." I muttered, panting in exhaustion. She heaved him off of me.
"You're hurt, Cassie." She said.
"It's not too bad. Let's deal with Lincon first." I said.
We were both panting from the fight as she grabbed the chains. I got up, feeling weak, "Here." She said, handing me the chain, we tipped him over onto his back and wrapped the chains around him. We had no choice but to chain him to the floor.
