I was with Bellamy, Clarke, and Monty. My father came with us, although Clarke said it was better if he went with the others instead. I scanned the door, allowing it to open. "We'll stay gaurd." I said, gesturing to my father. The other three went in.

"Is there a reason why you wanted to be alone with me." My dad asked.

"Is it bad to want quality time with my father." I smiled, looking around, "Well, this may not be quality, but at least I'm with you, dad."

"You're so beautiful, Cassie. Just like your mother." He said, scanning my face. "I can't believe I didn't get to see you grow up." He said. I could see regret filling in his eyes.

"Dad, don't be ridiculous. If you didn't leave the Ark, you never would've seen any of us grow up." I said, holding his hand, "I'm glad we are where we are."

"You're wise, just like your mother, Cassie." He said.

"I think I get that from you." I smiled at him.

"So, did you tell him?" My father asked, I scrunched my brows in confusion. He used his eyes to gesture towards Bellamy.

"Actually, he said it to me first." I said.

"He's a good man, Cassie. He's not a boy. If he can manage to protect you here, I'm sure he would be able to protect you anywhere." He said.

"So he passed the test?" I asked.

"With flying colours." My dad affirmed.

"So what are your plans after all this is over?" I asked him.

"To get to know my daughter better. Let you and your sisters bond, and I will train you to be the best soldier the ground has ever seen." He said proudly.

"You better." I said as the door opened. It was Bellamy, making eye contact with us both.

"We're going to the command centre." Bellamy told us. His hands were holding the cuffs that were around Dante's hands. Clarke and Monty followed him out. We walked for a minute, finding the centre.

We were outside the door waiting for Monty to unlock it, "Why isn't he on level 5 with the others?" My dad asked.

"After what I've done, they can be free. I can't. Deliverance comes at a cost. I bear it so they don't have to." Dante said.

Bellamy looked like he was thinking, realisation sparked, "It wasn't Cage." He said, "it was your idea to make the deal with the grounders." Dante nodded the same time the door had opened. Bellamy went in with his gun poised.

"It's clear." He said, allowing the rest of us to go in. Dante followed in, then the rest of us. Monty immediately made his way to the computers.

"Let's get the monitors up." Clarke said. Monty worked his magic, and in seconds, they were up.

All the screens displayed different rooms, and one particular room caught my eye. It was our people, all tied up. In the centre was a hospital bed with equipment surrounding it. Multiple soliders stood guard, and they were taking someone from the wall, dragging her onto the bed, "Is that Raven?" I asked, my heart dropping.
