Two elements fell into the trap of desires A deadly sin, the downfall of an Empire It wasn't envy, wrath, or sloth It was an emotion, a feeling called love
Throughout history, they remained enemies But what if the truth was hidden inside the stories Narrating about two lovers separated by fate Protecting their love behind a mask of hate
Water and fire despised each other, they say One generated life, a symbol of growth While the other ravaged everything on its way A servant of death, a murderer of hope
Destiny forged them to battle Ruling their respective territories Protecting their castles Seeking for power and eternal glory
Yet, their hearts chose another path Indeed, they were different But as they quote; "opposites attract"
In each other they found a missing part A piece that would make them whole A heart clinging to a heart One was warm and hot, the other chilly and cold
Fire was overrun by rage One, that only water could soothe Water was tired of going with the flow So, fire taught water to break some rules
They were so different, yet so alike Contradiction as its finest Destruction and creation in love What a surprise
So let their love reach the lands Its sound echoing through the blue of the skies Reaching its destination, guiding the lovers Whom, like fire and water, kept their love in disguise.
