I'm abruptly awoken by a way too enthusiastic Giovanni. He slams open my door, singing good morning as he waltzes around my room turning on the lights and opening the curtains. I groan, hiding my face into my pillows. He tuts, tearing my blankets from me and scooping me into his arms.
"Rise and shine," his arms hold me from under my knees and back, holding me tight to him as he continues to dance around with me half asleep in his arms. He deposits me in a chair facing my window, right where the sunlight will shine right into my eyes. "Wake up," he sings, walking towards my closet and opening the door in a grand movement.
I close my eyes, resting back into the chair. "Oh no you don't." Gio says, before throwing my uniform at me. I don't even raise my arms to catch it, letting the clothing hit me in the chest. "Get up," Gio says one last time before leaving my room, walking across the hall and opening that door. Before he can even say anything I hear Elio voice, rough from sleep yelling "fuck off." Gio snickers before turning towards me again, giving me a look of 'get going'.

I look at myself in the mirror, happy with how I look. My hair falls in its natural light waves and looks good freshly washed. I've applied light make-up to my face, just some blush, mascara, and lip gloss. Thankfully my facial bruise has completely healed so I don't need to worry about covering it.
The uniform is cuter than I was expecting, it consists of a dark-blue plaid skirt, a white short-sleeve button-up shirt, and a loose fitting long sleeve sweater overlay that matches one of the colors of blue on the skirt. My legs have healed of bruises, but my arms still carry some. I'm planning on just wearing the overlay the entire day so I don't bother covering those up. I end up accessorizing a lot to make the outfit more unique, adding jewelry and wearing come cute shoes.
I look at the time, 7:54, just in time. I make my way downstairs, slightly more awake now. Gio sees me from behind the counter, putting what looks like pasta into a plastic container. "Good morning, amore." he says smiling while continuing his task. Alessio enters the room from behind me. "You look nice this morning, sorellina," (little sister) he says before swooping down and kissing me on the forehead. I thank him before sitting at the bar in front of the island.
"Whata doing?" I ask Gio as he moves onto cutting different fruits and adding them to a separate container. " making your lunch," he says.
I furrow my brow, "I can do that."
He smiles, "I know, but I wanted to."
"You never make mine," I hear Lucio pout from behind me, I flinch not realizing he was there. He laughs, setting his hands on my shoulders. Gio rolls his eyes at him. "on school mornings, breakfast is a serve yourself thing. I never wait for Elio's slow ass." Lucio says behind me, before grabbing a plate and begins loading it. I do as well, looking over the options. Gio made just as much this morning as any, Bacon, sausages, eggs, pancakes, cereals, toast, fruits all scattered around the counters. Crazy enough, this is the first time that I've made my own plate since I've gotten here.
Roman enters the room, nodding to the boys before making eye contact with me, butterflies fill my stomach. I forgot he was staying here. He breaks eye-contact, moving behind Gio and starts making what looks like a smoothie. I try not to look towards him as I begin to add food to my plate, suddenly losing half of my appetite.
I still add a considerate amount of food to my plate. Even though I've been here for two weeks it's still weird for me to be able to eat this much food. As I'm about halfway through eating Cassio and Tullio walk in, rubbing their eyes and looking like they crawled out of bed two minutes ago, which they probably did. Elio walks in five minutes later, looking more grumpy than I've ever seen him. His hair is stuck up in thirty directions and he doesn't even have his uniform on yet. I snort into my drink, watching him his eyes close and his face almost fall into the bowl of cereal he is eating. well, he is definitely not an early morning person.
