I'm sorry for this very short chapter but I'm very tired, I almost died at noon from choking 💀, well it was pretty impressive, I'll try to make up for it when I get back to France
---**Travis's POV:**
I walked towards the exit, my heart breaking, and a few tears rolled down my face that I couldn't hold back.
It broke my heart to think that maybe it was all just a game to her, nothing more, to feel my soul emptying, my head spinning.
"Travis." I heard Taylor's voice behind me, saddened by the situation. I didn't turn around.
"Travis, please." I heard her quicken her pace to catch up to me. She grabbed my arm, and I turned to look at her.
It was just her and me in a hallway.
"Travis, I'm so sorry."
"Taylor, I've given you so many chances that I don't even know what to think of you anymore."
"Travis, I'm sorry for talking to you like that, but I promise there was nothing between him and me. I sat at the bar, and he started singing one of my songs. I guess you saw me laughing; that was the only reason. We continued talking about our professional projects, and when he put his hand on my back, I asked him to remove it because I love you, and you know that. But also because I knew you were watching from afar and that you'd probably take it out of context, which, by the way, I estimated correctly. But I would never, ever cheat on you, and I know you'd never do that either. I know our relationship lacks trust, but we're going to overcome these challenges, Trav. Please. Can we just go home?"
I nodded and took her hand because, despite everything, I care about her and want to take care of her, even during difficult times. I know she's right, which is why I agreed to go home with her.
On the drive home, Taylor kept my hand in hers, resting on her thigh, and leaned her head on my shoulder.
"Tay, we're here."
"Can you carry me, Trav? I don't have any strength left."
"Yes, of course."
It's totally understandable; she's been working a lot lately, especially on her new album. I know it takes up a lot of her time and tires her out, but I sense that something else is bothering her, making her so irritable. But it's too late to talk about it now, and I know she's too tired to discuss it anyway. One thing is certain: we'll talk about it tomorrow because my patience with her is starting to wear thin.

"Tay, you need to change before going to sleep."
"Mmh, help me then."
"Okay."
I helped her unzip her dress and handed her a t-shirt from her closet.
"I want yours, Travis."
"Okay."
I took a t-shirt from my closet and gave it to her. It fell around her knees.
I went to the bathroom to find a cotton pad to remove some of her makeup.
"Lie down, Tay." She obeyed. "I'm going to remove a bit of your makeup, Tay."
She grumbled a little but agreed.
"There you go, ready for bed. Sleep well, Tay."
"Good night, Trav. I love you more than anyone could love you and more than you can imagine."
"I love you too, Tay."
I placed a gentle kiss on her forehead before going to the bathroom to change into my pajamas as well.
