An alarm blaring woke Luna from where she slept, her and Izzie had passed out on the couch after scoffing their faces with pizza the night before. She liked having Izzie as a new roommate, she felt closest to her, out of all of the interns, so far.

She turned to slap Izzie but ended up slapping a cushion as Izzie was not lying next to her anymore "IZZIE!" she shouted throughout the small apartment "I'm in the kitchen!" Izzie yelled back.

Dragging herself up, Luna managed to get to the kitchen, where her blonde friend was stood, flipping what looked to be blueberry pancakes, the two made eye contact before Luna looked towards her open, now mainly empty, fridge "Sorry, you happened to only have the ingredients to make blueberry pancakes"

Izzie turned around with two plates with 3 pancakes each, passing one along the table to Luna "Why is your fridge so empty?" The girl asked before tucking into her breakfast, but she wasn't close enough with the blonde yet to share so brushed it off "Because I live alone and shop when I have to" Izzie nodded.

She began slowly eating one of the pancakes but remembered how much pizza she had eaten the night before so placed the half eaten pancake down and brushed her hands together "I need to shower, make sure you clean this up" she said before walking out of the room.

"But your pancakes! Do you want me to wrap them up" Izzie lowered her voice when she realised Luna was too far gone to hear her. She wrapped them up anyways and smiled to herself "for later"

Meredith entered the locker room where Luna already was. She put up a 'roommates wanted' poster on the notice board. Luna observed it, part of her wanted to get rid of her own place and she figured roommates would be a good idea.

"Hey Meredith, you need roommates?" Meredith nodded her head "Yeah, you want to be?" Luna eyes widened slightly, she didn't think it would be that easy "Well yeah I mean, I have my own place but I was thinking about selling it anyways. I'm a very good roommate, I cook, I clean and I'm no trouble" She smiled widely.

"Okay then" Meredith returned a forced smile before walking away, towards the corridor where Izzie, Cristina and George were standing. Before she got there, a blonde girl asked to be her roommate to which Meredith asked her 100 questions then still rejected her.

"Why do you put up posters for roommates if you don't want roommates?" Izzie asked as the group walked together "I do want roommates, we're together a hundred hours a week, you want to live together too?" Cristina looked down at the coffee in Meredith's hand "No...ooh you're bringing bribes now"

Meredith shook her head before George piped up "I need a place to live, my mom irons my scrubs, I need to get out of there" Luna chuckled lightly "At least you have a mom, my moms.....dead" she stated as if it was normal.

All of them turned to her before she shrugged her shoulders "Sorry" Meredith then turned back to Cristina "It's not a bribe, I don't think it's a good idea" but George continued shaking his head "But I can put down last, first and deposit" Cristina scoffed "It's definitely a bribe"

"I can cook, I'm an obsessive cleaner" After the night she had spent with Izzie, Luna was hoping Meredith would want her as a roommate too so she added "She is, it's true" but Grey only responded with a head shake "No, I just want two strangers who I don't have to talk to, or be nice to and it's not a bribe, it's a mocha latte"
