For the first time in a long time, Luna Lovelyn did not wake up alone. Instead, she woke up next to a sleeping Alex, a smile covered her face at the sight of him.

She reached her hand up and rubbed the top of his ear, something she knew he loved. "Alex" she mumbled "You have to get up"

The man stirred slightly before squinting one eye open "You're kicking me out already?"

She let out a small giggle "No, we have work, it's nearly 7" but Alex shook his head and closed both eyes again, reaching forward and grabbing the girls hand, interlocking their fingers.

"I'm not going" he shoved his face into the pillow, his voice coming out muffled, though he refused to let girl of Lunas hand. "Okay but I am" she attempted to pull her hand back but Alex quickly but gently grabbed it back.

He pulled her in before wrapping his arms around her and essentially pinning her down "No" he mumbled into her neck as he now practically laid on her.

Luna wrapped her arms around him, drawing circles on his back as he kissed her neck, making her smile "I have to shower" she stated but Karev shook his head "You smell good"

She laughed "I still need a shower" she lightly kissed his shoulder and attempted to get out of his grip but sighed loudly when she couldn't "Trying to wash me off already?" he joked, still kissing her neck.

"Maybe" she managed to use all her strength to push him off her before realising she was still naked, pulling the covers back up and shifting herself over to the other side of the bed.

"You can't wash away all the dirty words you were whispering into my ear last night" Alex dragged the last word out, teasing her. Luna rubbed her hands against her face as a result, part of her embarrassed by the memories from the night before.

She sat herself up, facing away from Alex so he couldn't see her naked and wrapped a sheet around her chest "You know, I saw everything there is to see last night" he lifted himself up and moved closer towards her, laying kisses across the top of her back and into her neck, tickling her and getting a small giggle in response.

"I'm showering!" she yelled back at him before shaking him off and running out of the room and to the bathroom as he watched with a smile on his face. Once Luna had left the room, Alex laid back down with a pleased grin on his face.

Luna rushed into the locker room, already extremely late, pulling her hair back into a messy ponytail before wrapping her lab coat around her body "Here comes the lady in the night"

She turned her head quickly to face Cristina who had been the first to make a comment "What?"

Yang raised her eyebrows before patting the girl on the back "I'm like a proud mama"

Luna turned to Meredith who looked down at the ground "Meredith!" she yelled at her friend, sensing she was the one to fill Cristina in on last nights events.

"What? I just told her you and Alex were keeping me up last night"

Luna scoffed "And when the roles were reversed, I covered for you"
