'deny, deny, deny'
season two, episode four.♡.:¨ ·.· ¨:⠀
'· . 💌Bailey and her interns had gathered at Joes, Luna was sat in between Izzie and George "I don't know, when I left, Cristina said she was okay" O'Malley declared before lifting his drink and taking a sip.
Izzie shook her head "Nobody goes what she went through and is totally over it by now" Luna nodded in agreement before muttering "Cristina likes to pretend nothing bothers her but she's not okay"
Meredith however, clearly disagreed "She's fine" she expressed, as if it were a fact "Too fine, she's cold" Izzie added on.
"No, she's hardcore" George began "She's got ice in her veins, she does what she has to do to get through it" he shrugged, like it was nothing. As if she had no feelings whatsoever.
"Pretending things don't hurt as much as they do just delays the pain but it all feels the same in the end" Lovelyn voiced her honest opinion, she sometimes saw parts of herself in Cristina.
"She lost a baby, she lost a fallopian tube and she's acting like she doesn't even care, she's all 'Hello, I'm a totally fine person' ok, she's my friend too but she's acting like she has no emotions or warmth, like she's missing a soul" Stevens replied, mainly to George than anyone else.
"Some people don't want children and that's okay, Izzie" Luna tried to reason with her "I get that Luna but there's no reason for her to act like she doesn't have a heart" she replied, now placing down her drink.
"God, she's gonna make a great surgeon" Luna turned to him and lightly smacked his arm whilst Izzie semi shouted "George!" he looked at the two girls, confused, the brunette girl rolling her eyes.
"It's true, you show no weakness, you make it to the top" he added with a shrug, however Luna didn't agree "I actually think being able to empathise helps with the job" George just brushed a hand in her direction, excusing what she had said.
"Some people just keep their feelings to themselves" Meredith mumbled lightly, almost like a whisper as she watched Derek enter the bar.

Dr Bailey had gathered all of her interns, minus Cristina of course, in a hallway at Seattle Grace "I want everyone focused today. With Cristina out, we're short an intern and I have a feeling it's gonna be one of those days. And Karev, see the chief by the end of the day"
Alex looked over at Luna with a confused expression, she just shrugged her shoulders as a way of saying 'I have no idea' he then looked towards Bailey and asked "What for?"
But she just looked at him like he was stupid "Do I look psychic to you? He's the chief, he asked, you go" She walked off, leaving Alex stood alone whilst all the interns followed after her.
Luna turned around and walked back up to Alex "Can't worry about what you don't know, come on" she latched hold of his arm and lightly tugged him in her direction.
They were now in a patients room, Bailey kicked out all the other bystanders, leaving just her and her five interns for the day. Izzie was talking to the patient about how she was a missionary but she just shook her head "No, my parents, we traveled a lot, they still do"
