Luna and Alex were now stood by the door outside Meredith, well, now also Lunas, house "Thank you" she gently uttered towards him as he stood infront of her with his hands in his pockets.

He nodded and gave her a tight lipped smile. The two were stood in silence for a while, holding intense eye contact when Luna quickly turned around to look through the windows and see no lights on.

She turned back to Alex "Um, nobody's home" she paused and Alex didn't know where she was taking this before she asked "Do you wanna come in?"

Karev took a look behind the girl to also see the empty, dark house before looking back at her and nodding quickly "Uh- yeah yeah, I'd uh...." he smiled and took a small breath "Yeah"

Luna unlocked the door and walked in, Alex following slowly behind her before she closed the door and turned to him. At this point, her back was practically pressed up against the door, with the man infront of her looking down at her like she was the whole world.

But her nerves got the better of her as she pushed herself forward and quickly uttered "We have muffins" she pursed her lips quickly whilst Alex, who had previously been in a trance, furrowed his eyebrows.

"Blueberry muffins, I made them" Luna didn't know why out of everything, she decided that those were the appropriate words in this scenario but her mouth had a habit of betraying her at the worst times.

Alex slowly nodded, like he wasn't sure what she was trying to say, Luna smiled at him before asking "Do you like muffins, Alex?"

A smile made its way onto his face and he let out a light laugh "I do" he replied.

Luna and Alex came rushing into the hospital, both of them putting on their lab coats "Where have you been?" Cristina asked them before waving her hand around to stop them from responding "I don't even wanna know"

Alex grabbed a yellow gown and held it out for Luna to put her arms in, which she did before he tied it at the back for her, she eventually did the same for him. "What were you guys doing?" Izzie asked her as Luna began tying her up aswell.

"Nothing" She didn't know why she felt the need to lie to her friend but it slipped off her tongue before she even had time to retract "Hmm" Izzie replied, clearly not buying it.

Bailey then entered the room, dressed up as if she had been on a date "Oh" George said, louder than intended "What are you looking at?" the woman snapped back in response, causing him to shut his mouth.

She turned to Alex and started placing her purse and jacket in his arms "You look so pretty, were you on a date?" Luna asked her resident, a wide smile on her face as per usual whilst Bailey just looked at her with her normal displeased face then turning away and ignoring her question.

"Someone get me my damn shoes, let's move people" Bailey pointed towards Meredith who was stood, looking around, like she didn't know what day of the week it was "Hello, I seem to be a little bit drunk, I was off duty" she admitted.
