Luna opened the door to an on call room to see Alex sprawled out across the bed "Alex" he ignored her, causing her to move from where she was stood by the door and walk over to where he was laid, taking a seat next to his head.

Alex rolled over "Hmm, better" he mumbled as he nested his head in Lunas lap, his face getting a little bit too close for her liking "Woah, at least buy me a drink first" she joked, referring to where his head was currently positioned.

This caused Alex to lift his head up so he was now sitting next to her "Does that mean I can take you out again?" Luna scoffed "Not if it's anything like the last time" but Alex tilted his head "Come on, I thought we moved past that"

Lovelyn shrugged and stood up "Yeah, we are, now come on, Bailey will kill you and then me if we're not back in the next 5 minutes" Alex grunted and rolled his hands over his face in frustration before Luna grabbed his arm and pulled him up.

Just like the day before, Luna and Alex rocked up together, almost 30 minutes late. "Karev, Lovelyn, if you two are gonna keep fooling around instead of doing your job, you'll find yourselves with no job very quickly" Bailey lectured them as soon as they walked in, much to their expectations.

"Sorry, Dr Bailey" Luna mumbled whilst Alex just rolled his eyes "Yes, very nice of you two to join us, now....why keep the heart beating, Dr Yang?" Burke added.

Cristina looked around at Izzie before uttering "I don't know" Bailey furrowed her brows "What?" she asked, in disbelief, Cristina didn't sound very convincing as she added "I have no idea"

Bailey, who was now frustrated, turned towards Izzie who shrugged "Oh I don't know either, just don't" Burke sighed and looked towards Luna, as if he were testing her.

Luna looked at Izzie and Cristina who were giving her a look as if to say, don't say anything, to which Luna just shrugged "I'm uh- I'm not sure" Burke could tell that she knew the answer so he lightly shook his head before turning to Meredith.

"Because of the" she began but Izzie elbowed her slightly causing her to let out a small "Ow" Preston looked around the room "Anyone else?" Alex is the only one who speaks "Stress reduction because of the previous surgeries" he begins but is cut off by Burke.

"O'Malley" he turned to George, causing Alex to frown "I know, I know the answer" Alex said towards the attending who didn't seem to care "I'm asking O'Malley"

Karev turned to Luna who just shrugged whilst George spoke up "Scar tissue is too deep, heart's too weak to start up again so you only immobilise the portion you're working on and you leave the rest of the heart on its own"

He looks over at the girls, bewildered whilst Alex just storms out of the room "Welcome to the case" Burke uttered towards O'Malley who nodded with a "Thank you"

Izzie turned towards the three other girls and whispered "Okay move" causing all of them to leave the room and huddle together, whispering "Lovelyn!" Luna turned towards Bailey who had called for her, who was now signally for her to go over.
