Luna was sat with George and Izzie in the kitchen, Izzie was stood by the kettle waiting for the coffee to heat up "Did either of you get any sleep last night?" George asked, referring to Derek and Meredith going at it all night. Luna shook her head.

"Oh, she could oil the bedsprings as a courtesy or at least buy a padded headboard" Izzie stated, rubbing her eyes due to her clear lack of sleep "Good for her and everything but Jesus" Luna widened her eyes, before taking a sip of her tea.

"So, who's the guy?" George asked, Luna just carried on looking down at her mug, knowing she knew exactly who Meredith was screwing "You think it was just one guy doing all the work?" Izzie asked, a disturbed look plastered George's face.

"Yeah, do you mind if I don't think about that?" he asked, Izzie raised an eyebrow "Jealous?" but O'Malley rolled his eyes "I'm not jealous" but the blonde shrugged "Well I am, but at least I'll know she'll be having a long day at work"

Luna put one hand on her head, the other still holding her mug "At least she will, I'll be lucky to make it half way through my shift" Izzie came and sat down on the table, beside her two best friends.

"Anyways Izzie, weren't you on a date last night?" she asked her friend, Izzie nodded "And you didn't get any?" the blonde shook her head "Nope, he still lives with his mom" Luna let out a laugh "Dealbreaker"

George turned to the brunette, with a confused expression "It is?" she looked back at him like he was crazy "Could you imagine having the greatest sex of your life and then his mum walks in and tells you to keep the noise down?" she tilted her head and gave him a face that screamed, come on.

O'Malley looked conflicted "Are we speaking hypothetically?" Luna shrugged her shoulders "I wish I was"

A creaking floor board then caught the attention of the three interns, they all looked over to see Derek sneaking out of the door "Well, at least we know brain surgery isn't his only skill" Izzie said in disbelief.

"They can't be...he's her boss" Luna could see the hurt on George's face, it was bad enough him knowing Meredith was getting it every night from someone else, it must've been even worse knowing it was someone as dreamy as Derek.

"Who cares?" Luna asked as she stood up and put her mug in the sink "Meredith's sex life isn't really our business" Izzie scoffed "It is when it's stopping us from sleeping" she retorted before turning back to George "Anwyays, he's all of our boss and you know, she's been scrubbing in on a lot of surgeries recently"

Luna rolled her eyes, turning from the sink back to her friends and walking up beside where Izzie sat "Hey, don't be bitter, if you're jealous, you know I'm just across the hall" she joked, twirling the blonde girls hair.

"Meredith wouldn't be sleeping with him for that" George assured but Izzie shrugged her shoulders, whilst one of her hands grabbed onto the hand of the girl stood beside her "If she's not ashamed of it, why is she keeping it a secret?"

Luna was yet again, about to defend Meredith before George spoke up again "Maybe she didn't, maybe it just happened, you know, spontaneously, last night" she nodded in her friends direction, trying to send him at least a little bit of hope.
