Divya's POV
Last night wasn't my proudest moment.
Taking Elizabeth to the bathroom and having her... between my legs and on my neck even if it was with a purpose was... not what I was imagining would happen.
I also didn't expect for it to make me as bothered as it did afterwards. Nothing that a cold long shower and some melatonin afterwards didn't cure though.
Once again not my proudest moment.
Walking down the stairs of the apartment I picked up Kaden's phone call as I went to the kitchen for something to eat for breakfast.
"Hotline how can I help you?" I said as I answered the phone.
"Yes I would like to order a closeted woman with big boobs."
"Oh go to hell Kaden." I rolled my eyes at the sound of her laughter. "You sound happy I'm going to assume you just fucked Grace."
"You do know that sex is not my only source of serotonin right?" Kaden said.
"Mine it is!" I heard from the back—clearly Grace's voice.
I hummed, "Figured why you didn't want to video call me instead."
"Oh don't worry I still can if you really want to see." I heard noise in the background from Kaden's side of the line, followed by a door opening and closing.
"What was that?" I asked opening the gigantic fridge of Elizabeth's kitchen.
"Grace went to shower." Kaden responded.
I pulled out some blueberries and yogurt—settling with that for breakfast. I haven't heard from Elizabeth since I woke up and her bedroom door was closed so I'll just figure she's not home.
"Could you go and make sure she didn't go and grab my shampoo from my bathroom." I put some of the yogurt and blueberries on a bowl and grabbed a spoon.
She chuckled, "What?"
"I know is her who's been using it, so since it's you that keeps fucking her and having her stay over so often go and retrieve my damn shampoo Kaden." I ate a spoonful of the yogurt and maybe I was being ridiculous to think it was the most delicious yogurt I've ever tasted.
"Jesus can't your millionaire wife just but you another one?"
"Kaden fuck you—" the sound of the elevator made me stop talking.
That must be her.
"I'll call you back later. Get my shampoo out of her claws Kaden."
"Yes ma'am." She said before we hung up the phone.
I kept eating as I heard heeled footsteps come into the kitchen but what surprised me was that the voice that I heard next... wasn't Elizabeth's.
"Yes I'm at your flat so you better come here immediately, we have much to discuss. I cannot believe you got engaged and the first one to find out was bloody Robert Foy." The woman spoke through the phone. I didn't recognize the voice... but the different accent and the way that she was clearly speaking to Elizabeth —and so boldly at that— could only make me think of one person.
Shit that better not be...
I stood up from the kitchen island and went to clean my dishes as fast as I could.
I swear I'm going to kill Elizabeth.
The steps were now in the same room as me and I turned around to greet them—just barely finishing washing my dish the moment she came in.
