Divya's POV

Kaden has many ideas all the time, not all of them are— well actually, most of them are not good. But I decided to put my trust in her for this one, will I end up regretting it? There's a big chance I will, but we are here now so there's no point on backing out.

"See there's no better way to celebrate your new job than going to a lesbian bar with your best friend." Kaden put her arm around me as we entered the place.

"I can think of a few better ways to celebrate." I muttered as we walked through the people filled bar. Getting the job this morning would've been more exciting if I was in a less anxious position than the one I had been the last couple of days.

But if anything goes wrong tonight I have that good news to hold onto.

Kaden took us all the way to the bar and greeted the bartender like they were good friends and ordered for the both of us. "No better way to start the night than with tequila shots." She said.

I checked my phone one last time for the remainder of my time in here. Elizabeth had texted me earlier asking me about my interview and if I had plans for tonight, I didn't answer the later.

Elizabeth

I'm out with Kaden for a few drinks

The reply came almost immediately, I didn't even have time to lock my phone.

Elizabeth

Have fun and send my regards to Kade
Be safe xx

Will do

"Put the phone down already Div." I heard Kaden say to me, a shot on her hands, one for her and one for me. "Chug it down."

I grabbed the shot and clinked it with hers, "Cheers."

"Another." Kaden said as she finished with the lemon and quickly grabbed two more shots of tequila from the round she ordered.

I exhaled before swallowing the second shot, the burning taste in my throat still making me flinch. "Shit," I said, my voice hoarse.

"Right?" Kaden grabbed my hand. "Let's go dance, see if you catch anyone's attention." She looked me up and down, "Well you obviously will catch people's attention." She said while staring at my chest.

I flicked her head and kept following her, once amongst the crowd Kaden turned around and began dancing to the rhythm of the song. I followed her lead and watched as she stopped a waiter to order more drinks for us.

Kaden pulled me closer to her while we danced and spoke in my ear, "The brunette by the wall can't keep her eyes off you." She said and grabbed the newly shots from the waiter, giving one to me and one for herself. It wasn't tequila this time though, it was vodka.

Mixing drinks already, great.

I stole a glance at the woman Kaden was referring to. She had a wolfcut, brown hair and a leather jacket, she was hot but I didn't know if she was exactly my type. If I even had a type of woman to begin with.

"I don't know." I told my best friend, hoping she heard me over the loud music playing.

"Who cares, go talk to her!" Kaden encouraged me, but I could only shake my head. However she didn't give up, I watched as Kaden made her way to the woman and said something to her, both of them looking at me for a split second before Kaden began dragging her this way.
