Divya's POV

"Okay I really gotta go now." I said in between kisses.

I could feel Elizabeth's smile form on her lips, "Do you now? I mean we are already in front of your work building, is not like you'll be late."

When she went in for another kiss I had to stop her with a hand on her face—making her kiss the palm of my hand instead. "Put them away, I have five minutes to go up to my office or else I'll be late."

"I just need two more minutes of you, then you can go. I'm sure you can make the trip up in three minutes." Elizabeth tried to charm me into being late for work, but I knew that if I didn't leave her car now I wouldn't in two minutes either.

"You don't need two more minutes, you had me the whole weekend and we'll see each other later. But now I have to do as mortals do and go work." I gave her a swift peck on the lips. "I do have a work schedule, miss Sinclair."

"Are you calling me lazy?" Elizabeth asked still with a grin on her face.

"I'm calling you clingy actually." I couldn't help but laugh at the way her brows raised—she looked genuinely surprised that I said that.

"Clingy? I'm clingy?" She asked with her mouth agape and the same look of surprise.

"Yeah, but I do like having a hot woman clinging onto me —lifts my ego a lot actually— so you are on luck." I chuckled and gave her one last kiss and opened the car door. "Are you picking me up later?"

She did keep me hostage on her apartment the whole weekend... not like I was against it, but anyway. I don't have my car here and I'm not even wearing my own clothes to work, so I sure hope she is picking me up because I don't want to hear Kaden's teasing during the peak hour.

"I don't know that seems a little clingy." Elizabeth tried to act but-hurt by what I said but the smile on her face was betraying her.

I hummed, "It is. Also before I forget." I grabbed her chin with two of my fingers. "Do not dare leave the country without telling me."

"It is so bloody hot when you try to intimidate me into doing as you say." Elizabeth closed the distance between us again to give me a short kiss. "I will not leave until I really have to and I will definitely not leave without either telling you or taking you with me."

"We'll see about that. I'll talk to you later Elizabeth." I got out of the car and closed the door.

"Hey!" I heard the familiar yell from behind me. I turned my head to look at her inside the car—the window now rolled down. "You didn't let me say goodbye."

I rolled my eyes and shook my head. I was going late, but she was too cute. "Bye Elizabeth."

"Have a good day love."

"What are you doing?" I heard Jen ask me through the phone as I spun on my desk chair. Mondays were the worst days to come to the office because there is barely something to do and no one really comes to the office, at least that's how my last experience was and it seems like here is the same.

Corporate life.

"Working obviously , is Monday."

"Oh yeah I forget you are no longer jobless and traveling around the world with your hot lesbian fiancee." Jen said making me roll my eyes, but I can't blame her I was jobless for like four months and what Elizabeth gave me for our deal was my life line along with Kaden paying our rent for herself at first —which I have already repaid to her despite her complaints—. "Anyway do you want to go grab lunch? Your new job is not that far from my office."
