Goal!: The Final Chapter!

Chapter 2

The next day, Gael wanted to apologize to Izzy since he didn't do it yesterday after they left the gas station.

Maire accompanies Gael, as the two leave their rented house.

Once at the gas station, Gael and Maire both enter while finding out that Annie and Izzy were in there.

"Well it isn't the person who yelled at my twin sister Izzy, while she was about to scan your map." said Annie, as she recognized Gael on the spot.

Gael's face turns red of embarrassment.

"Umm, yeah about that..." said Gael, as he was trying to explain himself.

But Annie cut him off.

"And let me guess, you brought your little sister here as back up in case we didn't accept your apology." said Annie, as she pointed at Maire and looked back at Gael. "You were going to use your sister as an excuse, so that she'll make us feel guilty and accept your apology because she's on a wheelchair!"

"Um, actually I came to make sure that he apologizes." said Maire, as she pointed out to them.

Izzy who was sitting on the counter nods her head.

"Fair enough." said Izzy, later turning to Maire while Annie continues to interrogate Gael. "So, tell me about yourself. How did you end up in this wheelchair? And are you guys tourists?"

"Uh, no. Actually we're here temporarily, until I get surgery and recover from my surgery." said Maire, as she admits to Izzy. "You see, I played with a team called the U-20 WNT, and after playing a game with the USWNT, I got hurt while trying to do a risky move before (overtime). Since I used to play for the USWNT a former player of mine crashed into me, my knee was already injured while I was playing and the crash made it worse."

"Oh, I'm sorry to hear that." said Izzy, with a sad tone.

"Yeah, well that's the truth. So please don't go so hard on Gael, he didn't mean to yell at your sister." said Maire

"Don't worry Izzy won't do that." said Izzy, with a wink.

Maire looks completely dumbfounded, as she realizes what Izzy meant.

"You're Annie, aren't you!" said Maire, as she points out.

"Yep, in a flash Sherlock." said Annie, with a smile while pointing to the real Izzy. "The real Izzy is letting off steam, with your brother."

"But how?" said Maire, with a questionable look. "And according your name tag you're Izzy and that's Annie."

"No... I'm actually Annie, and that's actually Izzy." said Annie, pointing up Izzy.

"Seriously," said Maire, as she raises an eyebrow at Annie.

"Yes." said Annie, with a sheepish smile. "Anyways, all is forgiven if we play a nice game of chess."

Maire turns back to Gael and later back to Annie.

"Okay, just one game." said Maire, as she tells Annie.

"Don't worry after our game of chess all is forgiven." said Annie, as she set up the chessboard. "Izzy isn't good at playing chess, so I thought why not have a game with a real competition."

Moments later...

After Maire beated Annie in chess four times straight, she looks at Maire.

"I'm impressed, and here I thought that I was going to win. But, you know what they say, a deal is a deal." said Annie, as she stood up from her seat. "Izzy! You can stop interrogating him! He's good!"
