Goal!: The Final Chapter!

Chapter 46

The next day, The Hernandez along with Beth and Leah are sore from painting the house the other day, and have decided to take a day off.

Leah and Beth come over to Hernandez's house for a small gathering.

Beth is playing outside with Axel, while Maire is with Buddy.

Beth plays catch with Axel, while Maire was training Buddy on how to sit.

"Come on, Buddy get the ball boy!" said Beth, as she also tries to play catch with Buddy but fails to do so, after Buddy wouldn't catch the ball.

Beth suspects that there is something wrong with Buddy.

"Oh no, not at all, he's just still learning." stated Maire, looking up at Beth.

"Oh okay." said Beth, as she walks away while continuing to play with Axel.

Maire looks at Buddy, smiles, and winks at him before rubbing his head.

Two days later...

Maire is at the park, sitting at one of the picnic tables.

Maire opens the letter that Coach Abby gave her and the team, while being curious of what the letter says.

In Coach Abby's letter, Coach Abby admits to the girls that she and Coach Mica created the Ironheart Knights soccer team as a reference for any young adult to play in the club, before going into a professional career.

Coach Abby also admits that the reason why they were playing against other Universities is because she had scouts to watch them play.

Coach Abby hopes that the girls can get a full scholarship from one of the Universities that they played against, the past few weeks, in order to graduate from there and get drafted into a professional team by the NWSL.

Coach Abby also wrote that she is very proud of them, and hopes that they can achieve their dream, once attending their dream university. Coach Abby also wishes them luck.

After reading the letter, Maire folds the letter, puts it inside of the envelope, and before putting it back into her pocket.

Maire gets out of the picnic table, and walks away.

While walking away Maire hears the sound of something whistling behind her, Maire takes a step, while doing so she is then nutmegged by a soccer ball.

Maire turns only to find Tobin a few feet away from her, Tobin smiles before greeting Maire.

Both Maire and Tobin begin to talk for a while.

"Want to play a game, against 1 on 1." invited Tobin

"Sure." said Maire, as she accepts

"Great, just let me get my cleats." said Tobin, while leaving her soccer ball with Maire.

Maire juggles around with the ball for a bit, after watching a small whirlwind picking up from leaves from the ground, Maire, playing around, decides to pretend to control the whirlwind by making it stop.

However, what Maire doesn't know is that her eyes start to glow into a light gray color, while stopping the small whirlwind with her air powers that she unknowingly has.

Maire shrugged and turned while continuing to juggle the ball.

Moments later, it started to get cloudy, Maire stopped juggling the soccer ball for a little while, while still waiting for Tobin back with her cleats.

Continuing to wait for Tobin, Maire nickname "Five" is called from behind her, Maire after recognizing the voice turns around, while her smile fades away after realizing who the person was.
