Chapter 29

The next day, early in the morning Maire heads to the bus station where she is waiting for somebody and is accompanied by Khole and Coach Mica.

"I really appreciate you guys for coming along with me." said Maire, as she thanked Coach Mica and Khole.

"No problem." said Coach Mica and Khole.

"I'm curious though," said Maire with a question. "Why were you two awake at 5am?"

"Well, we took a morning walk, before we started to do our morning chores and practices." said Coach Mica, as she explains to Maire.

"Oh, good to know." said Maire

Coach Mica smiles at Maire and looks down at Maire's hands, realizing that there was a ring in the right side of Maire's hand in her middle finger.

"Nice ring you got there." said Coach Mica, as she tells Maire. "Where did you get that?"

"Somebody gave it to me." said Maire

Khole looks at the ring and recognizes it.

"Hey! I know that ring!" said Khole, as Coach Mica jumped. "You always wear it during our practices and games! That ring probably means a lot to you!"

"Uh, yeah it really does." said Maire

"Cool," said Khole, as she looks at Coach Mica and then back at Maire. "Did you know that Tobin also has one just like yours!"

"She does? I've never even noticed." said Maire, rubbing her neck.

"Can I see your ring?" said Coach Mica, as she asks Maire

"M-My ring?" said Maire, as she stammered a bit. "W-Why?"

"Oh just cause." said Coach Mica

Maire takes off her ring and hands it over to Coach Mica.

"It's a very nice ring." said Coach Mica, as she looks at the ring inside and outside.

Coach Mica sees that the ring on the inside had a zodiac symbol, she just shrugged her shoulders, and returned the ring back to Maire.

Just then as a bus finally pulls up, the passengers in the bus head out before grabbing their belongings from the carrier. Both Coach Mica and Khole are wondering who they were going to pick up, once a girl calls Maire's nickname "Five", she later hugs Maire.

Khole gasped as she recognized the girl.

"Leah Williamson!" said Khole, as she squealed with joy, along with a giggle and a snort. "You here?"

Leah stops hugging Maire.

"Yes." said Leah, as she smiles at Khole.

"Who?" said Coach Mica, looking puzzled.

Khole turns to her grandmother, as if she was one of the kids from the Disney Movie "Encanto".

"Grandmother, Leah Williamson." said Khole, sarcastically. "She's a player from Arsenal W.F.C! She's one of my favs! You know the one who I always talk about!"

Coach Mica shook her head.

"I always hear you talk about Jordan Nobbs." said Coach Mica

Khole looks at her grandmother, and begins to think.

"Well that shut her up quick." said Coach Mica, as she turns to Leah. "Anyways, please ignore my granddaughter, she can be a bit of a... pain."

Khole giggles at her grandmother's comment.

"Maire, aren't you going to introduce us to your friend." said Coach Mica, as she turns to Maire. "And do it now, before Khole does, and trust me she's going to let the whole world know who Leah Williamson is if you don't."
