Goal!: The Final Chapter!

Chapter 39

The next day is the Ironheart Knights day off.

Due to her day off, Maire heads to Gael's USC Hockey game against UCLA Hockey Team along with Aurora, Diego, Buddy, and Leah.

While in the stands, Maire then realizes that Nora, Ramona, and Clara were also in the stands watching the game one stand below them.

Nora was cheering for the USC players, while Clara was cheering for Gael, and Ramona was cheering for the UCLA Men's Hockey Team.

Since Ramona was the only UCLA fan in the USC stands, she was getting the stink eye from every other USC fan.

"LET'S GO UCLA!!!" yelled Ramona

"Ramona, how many times do I have to tell you, to be quiet!" shouted Nora, making Ramona sit back down into her seat.

"I know, but why, though again?" asked Ramona

"Because, may I remind you that you're the only Montague in a stand full of Capulets." admit Nora

"Oh, right." said Ramona, crossing her arms, while looking back at the ice rink. 

A couple of minutes later...

During the hockey game, Nora would be taking turns holding Buddy, and even tries to feed him popcorn.

"Here, boy." said Nora, as she tried to feed Buddy a couple of pieces of popcorn. "Come on, boy. It's popcorn. Try it."

Buddy however, doesn't eat the popcorn that Nora gives him.

"Huh, that's strange." said Nora, with a puzzled look. "Every dog likes to eat food coming from other people's hands. However, I find it quite odd that you won't do the same."

Clara, who recognizes Jace's jersey number, slapped Nora's shoulder while trying to get her attention.

Nora finally turns to Clara.

"What?!" questioned Nora

Clara later points at Jace, in which Nora smirks while winking at her. Nora later looks at behind at Maire,

"Oooh! Hey Maire, your boyfriend is on the ice! Now which number was he again? Hm..." said Nora as she ooohed, making Maire blush.

"Nora, be quiet," said Maire, while covering her face.

"Nah, that's not it," joked Nora

Nora still continues to embarrass Maire by calling out Jace's name as he returns to the bench along with Gael.

Aurora, Diego, Leah, Clara and Nora including Ramona laughed.

Maire finally uncovers her face.

"So original you guys," said Maire, in a sarcastic tone.

While getting Jace's and Gael's attention from the stands, Nora later shouts to Jace. 

"Hey Jace! Your girlfriend is here!!!" shouted Nora, causing some of the people in the stands to giggle, laugh, and snicker as well.

Jace smiles as he waves at Maire and blows a kiss to her, making Maire blush.

Clara, who couldn't let Nora have all of the fun, tells Gael that his girlfriend is also here to see him.

Gael smiles as he also waves at Leah and blows a kiss to her, making Leah blush as well.

Ramona, who wanted to join in on the fun, looks at a USC hockey player wearing the same jersey number as Nora and calls him out by saying that her step-sister has a crush on him.

At first everyone thought it was a joke, however after seeing Nora's face reaction, Aurora, Diego, Buddy, Maire, Leah, Clara, and Ramona find out that it wasn't.

Nora turns red with embarrassment while slumping down on her seat.

The USC hockey player with the same jersey number as Nora, smiles and waves at Nora.

Nora makes a sigh of relief, while giving Ramona the stink eye.

Clara turns Nora's view back on the ice.

"Sticks and Stones, Nora. Sticks and Stones" said Clara

Twenty minutes later, the game finally ends with the USC men's Hockey Team beating UCLA Men's Hockey Team 6 - 5, as the game ends.

Aurora, Diego, Buddy, Maire, Leah, Clara and Nora congratulate Gael on his win, while Ramona states that UCLA were just going easy on them, but will be back for next time.

Aurora, Diego, Buddy, Maire, Leah, Clara and Nora including Ramona leave the Hockey Rink together, before parting separate ways.

The next day, during practice, the Ironheart Knights are working on a new play which includes Nora, Brittany, and Alaia.

Coach Abby tells the girls that they are almost done with their season, and that they only have three games; one home game and two away games left.

Leah was close to the dugouts along with Coach Mica and Buddy, since Gael was off to Hockey Practice.

"I think the girls are doing an amazing job out there." said Leah, as she was talking to Coach Mica.

"Yeah." said Coach Mica, as she later turns to the field only to see a soccer ball coming straight towards them.

"LOOK OUT!!!" yelled June from the field.

Leah tries to dodge the soccer ball that was coming towards her and Coach Mica, only for Leah to flinch. Even though Leah flinched, Coach Mica on the other hand didn't and just hit the soccer ball away from her and Leah as if it was a volleyball.

"Woah! Nice move!" said Leah, who was very impressed with Coach Mica's reflexes.

"Thanks." said Coach Mica, while continuing to look back at the field.

"You're right Leah, the girls are doing an amazing job out there. However, some of them lack targeting on the goal."

"SORRY!" yelled Maya, from the field.

"It's alright!" shouted Leah back, even though she still couldn't believe it. "Also, thank you."

"You're welcome." said Coach Mica, finally looking at Leah, with a wink.

Leah nods as she looks down at Buddy and picks him up and scratches his head, while talking to him in a cute way.

Meanwhile during the team's water break...

Nora sees Leah playing around with Buddy.

"Hey, girls come check this out." said Nora, as she signed to the rest of her teammates. "Uno is playing with his Aunt Leah."

"Awww..." said the girls, as they giggled.

Nora later turns to Leah.

"Yo! Aunt Leah! Are you also going to give Axel the same treatment?" asked Nora, while realizing that Axel wasn't around them anymore.

Nora turns to Maire, who was right next to her.

"Hey, where is Axel anyways?" questioned Nora

"Axel is being trained as a service dog." admitted Maire, while looking at the rest of the girls. "Which explains why I hardly ever bring him."

"Oh." said the girls

"Yeah, so that's why I bring Buddy along, since no one is home to take care of him.
