The next day, before Maire leaves for morning practice...
"Hey, is it okay that I can accompany you to practice." said Leah, as she asked Maire. "You know, since everyone in the house had already left for work, while Gael left for USC."
"Sure, I don't mind at all." said Maire, with a smile.
Both Maire and Leah leave by taking Axel and Buddy with them.
Once at the park's baseball field's bleachers...
Leah turns to Maire.
"I'm sorry to say this, but I'm bored." said Leah, as she admits.
"Bored? Like, what do you mean bored?" said Maire, asking Leah.
"No offense, Maire." said Leah, continuing with the conversation. "But I get bored when I don't have much to do around the house since I am a "guest" to you guys. I always want to help Aurora with the house chores, but she won't let me help her."
"Well, that's because she still considers you as a guest since you're from a different country and since you're just visiting us." said Maire, as she continues with the conversation. "Even Though you are Gael's girlfriend."
"I know, but I want to be part of the family." said Leah, as she admits. "So that Auora won't think that just some "Lazy person", who is taking advantage of the Hernandez family's hospitality."
"What? Leah, even though you think that you are a "Lazy person", she doesn't think that of you. And just want you to take a vacation." said Maire
Leah however, thinks while Maire is trying to admit the truth to her.
Just then, Tobin who's been eavesdropping on Maire and Leah's conversation, cuts in.
"Well, I think that's absolute rubbish!" said Tobin, in a British accent.
"Eavesdropping much on a conversation, weren't you." said Maire, in a British accent.
"Wha? Me? No?" said Tobin, in a British accent again acting innocently.
"For some reason you remind me of Beth." said Leah, turning to Tobin.
"I'm pretty sure I know how." said Maire, with a mumble. "Mmph!"
"Hush now, kid." said Tobin, referring to Maire while covering her mouth before turning to Leah. "Leah, I know how to get Aurora to like you as her future "daughter-in-law."
Both Maire and Leah turn to her, as Maire brushes Tobin's hand away from her face.
"Aren't you tired of listening to other people's conversations?" said Maire, asking Tobin.
"Nope." said Tobin, with a sheepish grin.
Maire makes an annoyed face reaction.
After hearing Coach Abby's whistle, Maire went back to Leah.
"Don't worry, Leah." said Maire, as she runs to homebase along with the girls.
Axel stays close to homebase with Coach Mica, while Buddy stays with Leah and Tobin in the bleachers. Tobin tells Leah that she knows how to get Aurora to like her, and that's eating Aurora's homemade salsa.
"Huh?" said Leah, sounding surprised.
"Yeah." said Tobin
"But Tobin, I heard that Aurora's homemade salsa is way too spicy." said Leah
"That's why." said Tobin, tricking Leah into eating Aurora's homemade salsa. "I'll be there along with you giving you support."
"Well, I don't know," said Leah, thinking for a moment. "Unless... Yeah, okay I'll do it."
