A couple of days later, Maire finally returns to the rented house after her surgery. Once back in their rented house, Maire is talking to Clara through video chat along with Nora, and the team."Dude, I can't believe you're finally back from the hospital... Well kinda, so are you coming back?" said Nora through the video call.
"Sadly, not yet." said Maire
"Oh." said Nora, through the video call.
"So, what are you guys going to do now?" said Clara, through the video call while asking Maire.
"Right now, Gael is trying to make a cookout in our rented house's backyard." said Maire
"Wait, you guys have a backyard?" said Nora, through the video call, while questioning Maire.
"Yeah, why didn't you know?" said Maire, asking Nora.
"Well, now I do." said Nora, with a chuckle through the video call.
Meanwhile Gael is trying to have a cookout in their apartment's back yard. While Gael is trying to light up the grill, he finally manages to do so. However, he is later wet by the 2nd time with a bucket of water, by the person who lives next door to them.
"Ugh! Again!" said Gael, as he is heard from inside of the house.
Maire, Clara, and Nora heard Gael's yell from outside.
"Who was that?" said Nora, through the video call.
"That sounded like Gael, is he okay?" said Clara, through the video call.
"Yeah, he's alright. He just got wet again by the second time by our next door neighbor." said Maire
"Neighbor?!" said both Clara and Nora, in sync through the video call.
"Yeah, on our first, or second day over here, Gael got by with a bucket of water. And now he got wet by a bucket of water again." said Maire
"Ha! Poor Gael, already getting enemies in the UK." said Nora, with a chuckle through the video call.
"Dude, seriously Nora." said Clara, through the video call.
"No, but seriously though, who is he?" said Nora, questioning Maire of who their neighbor was, through the video call.
"We don't know." said Maire
"What?!" said Nora, through the video call.
"How come?" said Clara, as she questions Maire, through the video call.
"Not sure, I guess we don't want to have problems with our temporarily neighbors." said Maire
"True." said Clara, through the video call.
"Nah, if it was up to me, I would've pranked them already." said Nora, through the video call.
"Obviously you would." said Clara, through the video call.
"You know me so well." said Nora, with a smirk on her face, through the video call.
"I wonder how long it's going to take Gael to pop." said Clara, through the video call.
"Wanna bet on it?" said Nora, through the video call.
"Nope." said Clara, through the video call.
"Well I would love to." said Nora, through the video call.
"Nice try." said Clara, through the video call.
"Dang it." said Nora, through the video call.
Maire and Clara chuckled.
After talking with Clara and Nora, Maire looks at Gael. Since the fire is out and the grill is still wet, Gael decides to order take out, once entering back to the apartment.
Diego gives Gael a dry towel for him to dry his head with, before ordering take out.
"No offense, Gael. But I think that our neighbor probably thought that our back yard was burning and wanted to help." said Maire, as she started to joke around.
"This is literally strike two." said Gael, as he puts the towel on his head and rubs it. "I'm taking a shower."
"Great, and while you do that. I'll be ordering take out." said Diego, as he takes out a number of the previous restaurant that they visited on their first day touring the city.
A few hours later...
Maire, Diego, Aurora, and Gael were in the living room along with Axel.
"Hey, Maire. What are your thoughts on joining the Utah Royals along with Christen?" said Gael, as he questioned Maire.
"No offense to Christen. But I'm not planning on joining the Utah Royals since she doesn't know anybody there." said Maire, as she admits to Gael. "And you know, I'll be missing you guys, my friends, and my teammates."
"Maire, if you want to join Christen on playing with the Utah Royals, it's your call." said Diego
"And we'll support you on your choice." said Aurora
"Yeah, if you really want to play for the Utah Royals, we'll understand if you do." said Gael
Maire smiles at them.
"I know, thank you." said Maire, as she thanked them for her support.
"There's still time for you to think about it." said Gael
"Yes, I know." said Maire
"However, I am a bit disappointed that Christen had decided to move on with her plan of you joining the Royals, without discussing it with you first." said Gael, as he admits to Maire.
"To be honest, I'm also disappointed with her." said Maire, as she admits.
"I guess she might've thought that you were going to accept, either way." said Gael
"Yeah, but hopefully Christen can understand my final decision. After admitting the truth to her." said Maire, as she admits to Gael.
"She's going to have to, if not she'll be dealing with me." said Aurora, as she pointed to herself with her thumb.
"Oof, I literally don't want to see that." said Gael, as he looks down at Axel. "What do you think, boy?"
Axel wags his tail and barks.
"See, he agrees with me!" said Gael, as he chuckles.
"I'm pretty sure he does." said Maire, with a chuckle.
