A Train Derailing and The Brodian Prince ~ Chapter 23

Chrom fell into the train and immediately recognized who the person was. "A-Alcryst...?" Alcryst looked over and saw Chrom.

"E-Exalt Chrom!? What are you doing here!?"Alcryst dashed over to help Chrom stand up as Chrom grabbed his arm.

Chrom explained, "We saw the train derail, and therefore I wanted to act as soon as possible... Shuichi, Sonic, and Tails are handling the outside." Alcryst nodded as the conductor slowly got up.

"Ohhh, there are two of you now?! Seems like the poor Brodian prince won't go down without a fight! Too bad you lost the two people dear to you, what's next? Diamant?" The conductor mocked. Alcryst glared at him and then held a firm grip on his own. Chrom took out falchion and rushed to attack him. He swung his blade at the conductor and he fell down. He grabbed his neck as Chrom raised his sword up. Alcryst on the other hand, shot an arrow out and it struck the conductor in the head.

Chrom asked, "Alcryst, do you have any idea of what ended up occurring?!"

"From what I remember... The train was making its way from Brodia to Vivian City. I was going there to check it out to see if I could bring Diamant but soon the train derailed! Thus leading us in this situation..." Alcryst explained. Chrom looked over and looked out the door.

Shuichi asked, "Is the situation handled?!"

"Somewhat, the train was derailed from the direction heading to Vivian City!" Chrom explained. Shuichi looked over and told Sonic and Tails as well.

Alcryst muttered, "This conductor killed Lapis and Citrinne... how could I ever forgive him." Chrom looked at him in sorrow but soon he began to get fearful.

"How are the other passengers?!"

"They're worried but most of them are okay!" Alcryst explained. But soon the conductor got up and slammed a hammer against Alcryst's head. He fell forward and hit the ground. Chrom slammed Falchion against him as Alcryst grabbed his head in pain. He noticed there was slight bleeding and looked over toward Chrom. He was fighting the conductor.

"WHAT DROVE YOU TO THIS MINDSET?! TELL ME! WHO DID IT?!" Chrom demanded. The conductor chuckled as he wiped the blood that was coming out of his nose.

The conductor laughed, "Can't you see...? Our lord and savior has come to arrive! Rejoice all together for the one and only, Ahahaha... but you wouldn't understand... none of his followers understand him like I do-"

"JUST ANSWER THE GODDAMN QUESTION!" Chrom demanded. He glared at the conductor while pointing falchion at his neck. The conductor continued laughing as Alcryst slowly got up.

The conductor laughed, "Fine, you mere mortals won't understand that our god has risen to destroy the entirety of Dawn!" Chrom kept staring at him as Alcryst looked around. "Lord Zethus of course..."

"Z-Zethus...?" Chrom repeated. He lowered his sword and stared at the person in shock.

Alcryst asked, "Your highness...? What happened?!"

"No, no this can't be..." Chrom muttered. The conductor then proceeded to launch at Chrom and start choking him. "GAHHH!!!" Alcryst dashed over and grabbed an arrow. He stabbed the arrow into the conductor's neck. He started to dig it inside of his neck as blood kept spewing out.

"AHAHHAHH! AAHHH!!!" The conductor screamed. Chrom reached for Falchion and stabbed him right through the neck. The conductor fell back as Chrom stabbed his sword again through the stomach.

Alcryst grunted, "It's over but how do we stop the train from derailing!?" Chrom looked toward him and back outside. Sonic and Tails were trying to see what exactly was causing the train to go so fast. Shuichi on the other hand was contacting the heroes. Once the heroes were notified they wanted to approach the situation as quickly as possible.
