Chrom took a deep breath again as he watched each of the heroes. All of them were discussing some things with each other as Chrom just stared outside the window. Something about the dark red sky left an uncanny feeling in his stomach. He felt confused but at the same time... he felt unsafe.

"Are you sure a watch like that will bring us to peace?" Furina asked. Chrom looked over to her and nodded. Chrom put the watch around his neck and stared down at it. There was something fascinating about the watch, how it was specifically designed for him. At the same time, there was a feeling of nervousness. After all, the goddess of time had chosen HIM. Nobody else, just him...

Chrom looked at each of the heroes as they continued talking with each other. Mario was writing some things down on a sheet of paper he had. "Do you know the capabilities that watch holds?" Chrom looked at him and back at his watch, truthfully Time told him absolutely nothing about the time. He felt embarrassed about how he should've asked more questions but at the same time... it should've been a given that she told him. "Chrom?"

"Sorry, I didn't ask her about what power it holds but I believe the only thing I know is that it can stop time," Chrom explained. Mario nodded as he continued writing a couple of things down on his paper. Chrom sat on the ground and just stared at the watch. "Why the hell didn't you say anything? Are you allowed to even talk to me?" Chrom stared at the watch as it produced zero response. Chrom grunted and put his watch down. He grabbed his eyes and pulled on them. He stared down at himself as the heroes started arguing with one another.

There was no way to calm the motion down but at the same time... they needed to calm down or else they would never find a way to solve the issue. Then... there was rumbling at the door.

"Everyone... EVERYONE STOP FIGHTING!" Chrom screamed. The heroes all stopped as they heard the rumbling get louder. They stared at the door and watched it. All of them froze, they had nothing inside of them to force them to move. It got louder... and louder... and louder until... The doors broke down. There were despair induced individuals breaking into the building and causing a massive ruckus. The heroes watched in disbelief as they were all seemingly attacking each other. Soon, all of them saw the heroes on the upper level of the library. They all rushed at them as the heroes prepared to fight.

Mario ordered, "Everyone! WE NEED TO FIGHT OUR WAY OUT OF HERE! I DON'T CARE IF YOU'RE AFRAID OR NOT!!" The heroes nodded as they started shoving their way through the crowd. Each of them knocked several people out and some had to stab people through so they could run. They started running for the front but there were people still rushing in. Soon the heroes were all backed into a corner.

"You're not going to let us die here are you?!" Agent 4 asked. The heroes kept their weapons in front of them. Mario tried to find a way out as Byleth spotted an open window. He ordered everyone to grab each other's hand. Once they did, Byleth launched out his sword. It grabbed onto the window and they all got launched out of the window. They all fell onto the ground and rolled over. They all looked at each other to ensure each of them were out of that mess.

Mario gasped, "Thank you... so much for that Byleth. I thought all of us were going to die!" Byleth nodded as the heroes all got up and got themselves pulled together. They looked at one another as Mario looked down upon himself. He took a deep breath and sat down on the ground, trying to think of what the next plan was going to be. Chrom looked through the forest to see if there was anything in it. But it seemed safe enough to his eyes. The rest of the heroes waited as Mario continued trying to figure out a plan.

"I think we should definitely get somewhere safer. If we want to plan out something we better get to safety. This entire situation is NOT going to get better by any means," Tails suggested. Mario nodded as he dashed ahead. The rest of the heroes followed after him. They continued running through the forest. It was just their footsteps and the fire crackling in the background. Soon they all stopped in order to catch their breath. Together, all of them were struggling to breathe due to their masks making it a bit of a problem.

Furina gasped, "I hate to be one of those 'anti-mask' people but sometimes while running these are a pain to wear!" The heroes nodded in agreement as they just spent their time catching their breath. The heroes just had nothing to do, they were terrified but at the same time bored. While they were waiting, Tails was doing some investigating on his own with his communicator. He went to different sites if there was anything reporting on the matter but it just seemed to be complete madness. None of the sites were being handled correctly and were spiraling out of control.

"Good grief, not even the internet is safe to scroll through, one moment you see a gore video and BAM you get blasted with some other shit which is way worse."

"Porn?"

"No not like that, just a worse version of that gore video. It's all out of control, it's like stuff you'll see on the dark web, freaky..." Tails replied as he shut down his phone. "But... I really hope that we can get some sort of safe haven built or created sooner than later."

"Definitely, otherwise it would be murder, crime... fire... violence..." Chrom replied as he started shaking. He felt himself just staring down at himself in silence. The heroes looked toward him as he just stared down at himself, still in complete silence as nothing came out of his mouth. He put his hand near his mouth and just stared at the ground.

"Chrom?" Link asked as he got closer. Chrom looked up to him and shook his head. He gently smiled toward him and stopped his silence by giggling. The heroes stared at each other.

Chrom explained, "I didn't mean to worry you all. I'll be fine, don't worry." The heroes crossed their arms but just seemed to brush it off. They got themselves together and continued running through the forests. It was calm through the forest but the moment they would leave... the horror would reveal itself once more. That's exactly what occurred, they left the forest and they found a dead body on the ground. "Do any of you know where we should go?"

"Let's head to Firene, since that is apparently where it all started. We should stay away so we can relax but we're going to see what caused this to happen," Sonic suggested. The heroes nodded as they stepped over the body. They started walking down the pathway and it just was silent. Nobody said anything, and there were bodies... everywhere. Meanwhile, a figure came out of the forest and kicked the body away. Followed by another figure, it was none other than Magnus and Astrid

"There go the heroes... keep note of them, they're going to be pricks REAL soon..." Magnus muttered. The other person nodded as they wrote down in their notebook. "Listen Astrid, I know you and I haven't done anything toward the heroes... yet. But once we do, you just have to know they're going to be the most annoying pieces of shits ever." Astrid looked at Magnus as he chuckled.

Astrid muttered, "Are you sure? The heroes are just-"

"Don't be brushing off their actions. They're obnoxious when they attack, therefore you just have to keep a guard up!"

"Sir I'm not-"

"I don't wanna hear it," Magnus took out a cigar and lit up. Astrid looked at her notebook and looked toward Magnus again. "Besides, they can't do shit if someone is alone... so that gives me an idea..."

Astrid asked, "What are you suggesting?" Magnus took out the cigar from his mouth and started giggling. Then it became laughter and soon hysterical. Astrid walked backward from Magnus as Magnus continued laughing. She just stared at Magnus, afraid of him as he pointed his cigar to Astrid.

"You know what I'm going to do? I'm going to kill all of them one by... one. And then they won't be a group! They'll be useless and then after that's all done. BOOM! The world is all MINE!!!!!" Astrid looked at Magnus and just stared at him in awe. "Oh it's coming together... I know how this will all go..." Magnus threw his cigar onto the ground and started walking after the heroes. Astrid quickly followed after him but felt scared at the same time...
