"This way, don't panic and just follow us to the labyrinth. We'll be safe in there!" Shion assured the panicking citizens.

"Are we getting invaded again? Rimuru-sama isn't here. Are we going to die?"

"I can feel such ominous aura. We're gonna die!"

"Shut it!" Rigurd roared.

"Rimuru-sama may not be here but we must understand that we can't rely on him everytime. There are times we have to stand on our own without him. Like now," the goblin king could understand the worry and fear but he trust the ones their king left in charge.

He himself felt fear when he heard that Veldora was easily taken down but seeing Maiah strengthen the barriers calmed him down.

Right.

They all should do their counter parts to win this battle and defend their home.

"Rigurd is right. Don't worry everyone. Our queen is with us. Please give her your trust," Shuna muses holding the scared children clinging to her.

"Hey, what are you waiting for? Everybody inside now!"

Ramiris suddenly appeared at the entrance, followed by Berreta and Treyni, the guardian dryad of the forest.

The trio then helped in ushering everyone in the labyrinth and Ramiris sealed the entrance the moment the last goblin entered.

"Alright,we must head to Veldora's domain. This way.."

Treyni led the way as they're the expert in that field. Shion, Shuna, Ramiris and Rigurd on the other hand scattered themselves as the guards of the citizens. You never know what tricks the enemies have up their sleeves so they decided to do it that way.

Geld, the orc king and one of Rimuru's generals raised his shield to defend himself from the onslaughts of the sirens.

He could only grit his teeth and dug his feet on the dirt to steady himself as their weapons aren't working against these creatures.

His swords are now lying useless on the grounds but he couldn't do anything. He made sure to maintain his distance given as one touch from them could poison him excessively till he'd burst, like what happened to one of his subordinates.

"Sir Geld!"

He looked up at the call of his name and saw Benimaru descending down to his aid.

The over all general attacked back and Geld was surprised to see that his weapons and magic works unlike him. What is going on here?

Benimaru was able to wave off the sirens coming close, their screeches and high pitched cries enough to make their ears bleed.

"How come your magic works? Mine is completely useless against them," Geld questioned the moment Benimaru stopped beside him.

"It's the Queen's enchantment."

"The Queen? You mean high princess Maevah?"

The flame general nods.

"Ah, she said these sirens has high anti- cancelling magic so they'd just absorb their opponents weapons and magic. Her majesty had casted her water barrier around some of us."

Geld looks down, gaze lingering at his weapons.

"In that case, I can't be of use. Only you and the others who received the Queen's barrier could fight them off."
