A month later..
"Your face says it all. Exhausted?" Maevah asks her brooding sister who by then was having her snack.
"Oh gosh, please don't mention it, sis. Teaching is one hard work. It needs all the good qualities that a teacher must possess for a productive learning. I mean, I teach painting not academics but man, I need more patience," Maiah stuffed her mouth with the chewy mochi, one of Tempest new dessert.
"I get what you mean. You are doing a good job though. And as far as students are concerned, they've all improved, some even mastered it," Maevah say picking up an apple and biting on it.
Maiah nods.
"I have to agree to that. They can be called prodigies. However, there are those that are slow learners. They are very eager to learn though and I always see them drawing or painting on their free time."
The Tempest Empress thought for a moment before speaking. "Do you think you can finish it today? Our trip to Magnolia is tomorrow and I am worried you are exhausting yourself too much."
"Nah, I've got this in the bag. Just need this sweet energizer," chides the high princess pointing at the plate of mochi making the empress smile.
"Anyways, how is little champ?" Maiah placed her palm on her sister's stomach smiling at the thought of her niece or nephew in there.
"Oh, well and good. The downside is, I keep craving for different kinds of food. Like last night, Rimuru's in sleep mode and I tried waking him up. It's Raphael who answered though and she gave me the seafood ramen I was craving before I even ask for it. I am just thankful I have no weird cravings."
Maevah sighed.
"Not to mention the berries found only in Thalion. Rimuru nii-san had to go there just to get what you wanted to eat," Maiah couldn't help but laugh upon recalling Rimuru's expression when he had to do that in the middle of the night. The slime was shocked and hesistant only to panic when her sister said she'd be the one going.
"Please don't remind me of that. That Empress Elmesia is really one cunning and sly woman. To think that she would give Rimuru a task to do before she gave him the berries."
"There is no use sulking about it now, you know. In the end that same Empress gave Rimuru not just the berries but other essentials you might need." Maiah answers, standing up and stretching. "Anyways, I better get back to teaching."
"Yeah. Go make this last day of teaching worth it, alright?"
"You betcha!"
The princess then left the room and headed back to the gardens leaving Maevah in her own thoughts.

The sun is just beginning to rise when the selected group for the long journey ahead boarded their own carriages.
Saying their temporary goodbyes to the Tempestians who came out just to send them off, their trip set forth.
Rimuru was in his slime form and is on Maevah's lap while Noir and Maiah's seated next to them. With them are Natsu and Erza.
Speaking of Natsu, he kept boasting to his friends how he doesn't feel sick when on a moving vehicle now. Along with Wendy, Rimuru had casted a counter spell for them and the duo were freed from motion sickness.
The fire dragon slayer was even planning to brag to Laxus and the other other dragon slayers about it.
Rimuru just sighed as he was sure of what is to happen next once Natsu got on with his bragging as he claimed to do so. Those dragon slayers would ask him to do it for them. Well, it can't be helped anyway. He's not planning on hiding it on the first place.
