A few days later Zack came up to Bonnie with excitement, because he had finally summoned the courage to come out to his mom. The enjoy on his face was unmeasurable. The joy you feel when you come out to your parents and you are accepted with open arms. Yes, that kind of joy was written all over his face.

"Oh that's so sweet, I'm really happy for my boy said Bonnie.
Thanks hon and she asked me to invite Shawn for dinner tonight and you are also invited"
" wow I just love your mom "
" oh and Shawn is coming with his cousin Ben and he is pretty hot and straight" said Zack with a wink

"Oh please tell me you are not trying to set me up"
"Of course I am" said Zack and they both laughed"
"Ok whatever, that means I have to actually look for something pretty to wear"
"Yes girl "

Mrs Kira walked in on Zack and Bonnie holding a bag of groceries.
" hi mom"
"Hi Mrs Kira "
"How are you two doing "
" we are cool, Mom I'm going over to Zack's place for dinner tonight"
"Oh that's nice, do you need anything"
" Not really but Zack said this cute boy is going to be there and his planning on setting us up"

Mrs Kira looked at Bonnie and smiled "Uhm so do you want to be set up?" She asked and Bonnie nodded with a shy smile.

" Don't worry Mrs. Kira she wants it I know"
" alright kids you enjoy yourselves and I'm going to make a pie"
"Ok mum"
"Wait where is your brother" Mrs Kira asked
" I think he is in his room, I haven't seen him much today but he's inside"

"Alright" she replied and walked away to the kitchen to make her pie.

Jay was finding it difficult to concentrate on anything, whenever he closed his eyes he got flashbacks of that night, the moment he stared into Danny's ocean-blue eyes. Yes, they said they were high but how come he could remember and feel every touch over and over again he said to himself. He never got that feeling when he kissed Claire, he also admitted to himself.

No! I'm not gay.

He argued with himself feeling exasperated. Jay walked into the living room to see his mother whose eyes were glued to the TV. She watched in admiration, the music video of "THERE'S NOTHING HOLDING ME BACK" by SHAWN MENDES.

Oh my gosh Honey, who is this Shawn Mendes guy he is so cute, she said immediately after she saw Jay.

"Yeah Mom he is hot"
"How are you doing honey, you hungry?"
" No I'm good, actually I want to talk to you about something"

His mother's focus left the TV and concentrated on him

"Okay baby what is the problem?

Jay took a deep breath and started explaining.
"Okay I did something I'm not supposed to do and I actually enjoyed it and now I can't stop thinking or dreaming about it and it's driving me insane and I can't actually talk to anyone about it"

His mother asked him to elaborate more about the thing he did but he couldn't because he feared her judgment.

"Honey you know you can tell me anything right absolutely anything"

"I know but I just can't for now"

She went ahead to ask him if the thing would affect anyone. He looked at his mom in hesitation thinking of the perfect words to say

"Yes...No...Maybe, he stuttered with a shrug.
I don't know how many people will be affected.

He looked at his mom and continued " But is it bad that I would want to do it again if I have the chance to? He let out a little whisper-scream out of frustration.
