It was a wonderful weekend and everyone enjoyed themselves but it's Monday again and the final weeks of school.
When they got to school, students cheered and praised their names. Some junior students came up to them with gifts.

" you two are so cute oh my gosh," said one of the students

Danny smiled at them "Thank you" he replied

"Okay, we came up with some couple names for you, so just select the one you like best"

Danny and Jay looked at each other and smiled

"We have DJ, well that's just the common one, JAMIEL?, JADA?, JD?, DAMES?"

Danny and Jay looked at each other and chuckled "Uhm anyone would be nice" said Danny as they tried to excuse themselves

They smiled as they saw the trophy in the trophy show glass and a team picture next to it.

The school heads and communities agreed to give the teammates rewards and recognition at the prom

Coach Rooney called Nick into his office to get closure

" well I've been thinking about what you said in the games, and you sounded a little bit serious and I know everybody said it, but I want to hear it from your mouth. Did you mean what you said?"

Nick looked at his father, thinking of what to say, if he says yes, that's bye-bye to college and his family and if he say no, he might never have the chance to tell him again. Nick looked at his father, took a deep breath, and told him no.

" No, I'm not gay, I just said it for the team and I'm glad it worked. But dad being gay is not bad and you don't get to make the final decision for everyone. They are gay and they are happy and their families accept them for who they are, so you don't get to make any decisions for them. And I just want a little favor from you, try to listen to me even if it's just a little. And you don't have to be my coach all the time, sometimes be my father"

His father looked at him at said nothing and as he walked away

A few days after, Danny and Jay got prepared for their DUKE interview, Mrs. Sheila and Mrs. Kira drove them to the interview.

"Are you guys nervous?" asked Kira.

"Yes of course" they both answered.

Don't worry you guys are going to be great. I trust you Mrs Sheila added.

"Thanks Mom"

"You guys look great, now go in"

They went into the office and saw a woman.

"James Henderson and Daniel Gilbert?"Asked the woman

" yes ma'am"

" Please have your seats"

"Thank you ma"

"Welcome to DUKE University"

"Thank you ma'am" said Danny

" Ok, here at Duke we accept the best of the best, the best talents, intelligent and open minds. This is the actual beginning and this is when you either build your lives or destroy them. You both gave me great energy and points in your essays, so I'm sure you have enough to offer.

" yes ma'am," said Danny

She went through their résumés, she flipped through each page reading it carefully. Jay let out a little sigh as they waited for the woman, he started fidgeting, tapping his foot on the ground. He placed his hands on his thighs as he drummed on it with his fingers unknowingly but Danny noticed him before the woman. He placed his hand over Jay's which made Jay conscious. Danny gave him the Are you okay? look and he nodded
