Chapter 16

Bonnie got to Zack's house. She saw Zack's uncle sitting in the living room, She greeted him and went straight to Zack's room. After he complimented her dress he made a lot of complaints about how he was supposed to meet up with Shawn But had to cancel every plan. Zack didn't really tell Shawn why he had to cancel, Zack was so pissed and he just wanted the night to be over, but it hasn't even started.

A few moments later, Zack's mom called out to him and Bonnie.

Everything was going well until Zack's uncle started asking fishy questions. It was as if he knew Bonnie wasn't Zack's girlfriend.

"So Zack tell me" he started "how did you and this young lady meet? Mr Philip said using his fork to point at him and Bonnie

"We met at school she is my classmate and and my lab partner, so we just started from there Zack replied without even looking at him, his head buried in his food

"Hmm that is nice, you know I met my wife in school too. She was my high school sweetheart and we are still together to date"

Hmm I'm happy for you said Zack sarcastically but his eyes immediately met with his mother's

" So Bonnie, how long have you two been dating? Tell me your love story and how everything started I love hearing about teenage love stories. It gives me so much joy and it reminds me of my days"

Bunny looked at Zack and his mom, she took a deep breath and answered him "Well it all started in science class when he won my heart with his wonderful presentation about...uhm... science stuff. Zack looked at her and whispered, "science stuff really?" She cleared her throat and continued I fell in love with him immediately, and then we became lab partners and he asked me to be his girlfriend, and I said yes, and since that day he has been the love of my life"

Yes, that's exactly what happened. Added Zack.

"Thelma, isn't it sweet to see young love? It's so beautiful, come on let's enjoy our meal"

Mrs Thelma smiled and nodded

They managed to finish the dinner without Exposing themselves. Zack's mom thanked Bonnie for helping them.

Bonnie also invited Zack to the dinner at her house on Saturday.

It was finally Saturday and Mrs. Kira helped them to prepare the meal, she was pretty excited because it's been a while since they had dinner like this with the Hendersons. They usually spend Christmas and Thanksgiving together. Those are the only times they gather to have meals like this, so Mrs.Kira was surprised that the boys wanted to have a special dinner.

They were done cooking, while Mrs. Kira set the food on the table, Danny and Jay went up to shower as they waited for the guests to arrive.

Are you nervous cause I'm nervous said Jay as they dressed up.

"Well, I am a bit nervous. I think my mom will take it well because Zack comes here all the time and he's gay and she hasn't said anything about him, and some days ago she asked me if I was gay. I was in shock and I panicked so I said no. So the only person I'm worried about is my dad.

"Really your mom asked if you're gay? And you didn't say anything

" I forgot" said Danny

" well I'm sure your mom will be cool with it, My mom is pretty cool, and My dad is cool too, but I don't know, maybe they are not, maybe this is a mistake Danny, what if my mom doesn't love me again and say that their only child can't be gay"
