About a week later, the boys went to basketball practice for the finals. They have been putting their best for these game and they know they are going to win. After practice, all the boys headed to the locker room to change. Chad, Bryan and Nick doing what they do best, teasing and bullying other players. Danny and Jay ignored them as they tried to shower and leave. A few moments later, everyone was gone, Chad, Bryan and Nick left as well leaving Danny and Jay. Jay came out of the shower with a towel on his waist and Danny was almost done dressing up. Jay walked up to Danny and held him across his waistline. "You did very well today in practice" said Jay. Danny who was trying to put on his shirt replied "Hmm I did ? I didn't realize" he said sarcastically and kissed him, and Jay kissed him back.
At that moment Nick walked back into the locker room because he forgot his phone and he saw them kissing. They stopped immediately and pulled away from each other, Danny tried to button his shirt while Jay stood there frozen.
Nick didn't say anything at first, he walked to his locker, picked up his phone and put it in his pocket. Danny and Jay just stared at him cause they knew they couldn't tell Nick what to do, he wasn't like Bonnie who had a heart.
Nick walked up to them and he burst out laughing, placing one hand on his chest and the other on his knee as he tried to catch his breath. Danny and Jay looked at each other nervously.
Nick raised his head after a moment and cleared his throat "Damn! Gays? Really? James Henderson my man, this is the greatest moment of my life" he said placing a hand on Jay's shoulder "I never thought I will live to see this day" he turned his eyes to Danny "Danny I always knew there was something off about you" He laughed again and continued " so this whole friendship was just a cover-up, damn you guys are good" he said as he pulled away from them. Nick continued laughing as he walked out.
Danny and Jay stood in silence because they knew who Nick was, he was going to tell the whole school. "I don't think my heart is still beating" said Jay still frozen in one position "Me neither" Danny replied.
They panicked and stayed in the locker room for a while. They were so scared that by the time they got out of there everyone in the school would be talking about them.
After 30 minutes of panic and distress, they went outside, their hearts beating faster than usual but no one was talking about anything, everything and everyone was normal and everyone was doing their own thing.
They were so surprised, they walked through the hallway and nothing happened.
They decided to look for Nick to talk to him maybe beg him if possible. After a few minutes of searching, they found him with his friends. Nick and his friends watched them as they walked towards their seats.
"Uhm Nick can we talk to you" said Danny.
"I'm listening" Nick replied trying to open a pack of chips
"In private please" Said Danny
" hell no, whatever you have to say, say it here" said Nick and his friends nodded
Danny and Jay looked at each other, Jay took a deep breath"Please Nick, come on man" Jay begged
Oh wow, this is the softest you've ever spoken to me, Nick laughed. Don't worry your stupid secret is safe with me and you can please fuck off.
Come on man said Danny
"Jeez fuck off I said I'll keep your secret"
Danny and Jay looked at each other, Danny sighed "Ok man thanks" said Danny as he pulled Jay out.
"Are you sure he's going to keep it, you know I don't trust him" Jay asked as they walked away
Me neither said Danny.

The next day, Danny and Jay explained everything to Bonnie and Zack in the car on their way to school as they sought advice from them on what to do.
Oh my goodness, you two can't just get your hands off each other huh secret lovebirds? Always smooshing and touching, now look at you, the worst person in the school knows your secret" said Zack and Bonnie smiled.
"Jesus Zack, we are serious here man, what are we going to do" said Jay resting his head on the car window
"I think we should kill him, do you think we should kill? Cause I know I'd love to kill him said Zack rubbing his palms together and giving a devious smile
"Wow that's actually a good idea, we never liked him anyways so we just need a conspiracy theory" Bonnie added.
Danny and Jay were so pissed that they are making jokes but there was nothing they could do, they looked at each other and smiled when they heard what Bonnie and Zack were saying, so they just joined the jokes
"Yeah killing him will be fun Jay added and they all laughed.

They got to school and the worst was waiting for them.
When they got to the school hallway every eye, literally everyone was staring at them, it was as if they were just waiting for them to arrive.
Murmurings and laughter were coming from every angle in the school hallway "Is it just me or is everyone staring at us? Asked Bonnie And Zack replied "Yup I think they're staring at us, not actually us but at them" he said as he pointed to Danny and Jay.
Danny and Jay's eyes widened "Oh, I swear to God I am going to kill Nick" said Jay as he was about to storm off, but Danny held him back.
They stood still observing the hallway, students stared at them like they were in some kind of staring contest, you could hear the voices of some students murmuring
" oh my God, I can't believe I had a crush on him" said one of the girls eyeing Danny with disgust
"wow, using the name of best friends to cover up the gay acts, that's a low blow" said another girl to her friend and the friend replied "No wonder Claire broke up with him" She giggled and replied to her friend "No wonder that the other one never had a girlfriend"
"I don't really care, I think they're cute together" said a girl to her group of friends and they agreed with her
It was awful and to make matters worse Claire walked up to Jay and she gave him a dirty slap. Bam on his face and many students gasped, she stared at him with so much pain in her eyes, Jay could not even bear to look at her, he was still in shock, his hands still on the spot she slapped
" you should've told me, I hate it that I had to find out this way, this is messed up" she said and was about to leave when Jay held her back
" Claire I am so sorry I didn't mean to hurt you, it all happened so fast and I'm so sorry you have to find out this way"
She looked at him and Danny for a while and then pulled her hand away from his grip and walked out.
