Part-37: Nam

Taehyung presses the bell of Ken's house for the nth time only to get frustrated by the lack of response. He can hear the muffled sound of TV playing inside but no one is tending to the door.

He pulls out the masterkey he has for all the studio apartments of Namwon and unlocks the door. But even after searching the entire place, there are no traces of Ken. He has tried calling him in his number but again no response.

He then dials Jungkook's number who picks up the call at the last ring.

"Kook any idea where Ken is- wait-' Taehyung halts to listen carefully and then continues with a frown "why are you panting so hard? You went for Lee's territory earlier, did they follow you?"

Taehyung can hear Jungkook fumbling for a second.

"Ahm, hyung, I'm kinda b-busy right now. You wanted something?" Jungkook's hesitant voice is low and unclear to Taehyung through the phone.

Before Taehyung can say anything further, he is bombarded with a female voice in the background making him confused.

"Is it Taehyung? Omg, I always wanted to meet him personally but dad never allowed me. He is so fucking hot-"

The background voices died down as Jungkook speaks again. Taehyung shakes his head at the sheer negligence of the younger.

"Hyung, sorry about that."

Taehyung hears a sigh leaving Jungkook's throat.

"Anyways, you called me for?"

Taehyung pinches the bridge of his nose. He doesn't like how Jungkook has been constantly engaging himself with night night stands. It's not like he opposes the idea, but it's getting out of hand now.

"Learn to keep it in your pants, Jungkook. I don't mention it but it doesn't mean I am not aware of your one night stands. Yet you say you love Hoseok."

Jungkook falls silent for a minute as if pondering his hyung's words before speaking.

"I love him but he doesn't take me as a man. For him I am just a kid. How can a 20 year old be just a kid?"

"That's exactly what we call a kid. and if you keep mingling with these one night stands, you might lose the little chance you have with Hoseok." Taehyung warns the younger who seems to have created a different perspective and sways away from his actual goal.

When Jungkook doesn't reply anymore, Taehyung decides to dismiss his thoughts, not wanting to push the younger any further. He will learn his lessons on his own.

"Do whatever you want anyways, Have you seen Ken? He called to meet me earlier but is nowhere to be found now. He sounded urgent." Taehyung inquiries.

"Oh Ken yeah, he met me earlier in Hodok's bar when I was in the middle of preparation for Kim Namjoon." Jungkook makes a bitter face at the name.

Then adds, "Actually he seemed to be in a hurry so I didn't bother him asking questions. He handed me a letter for you."

Taehyung nods as if Jungkook could see him through the phone. "Did he say anything else?"

"Yeah he told me not to read it before you. He wanted to talk to you but you were busy so he wrote everything in that letter he left for you. And something about not having enough guts to talk to you directly. He was acting weird though."

Taehyung nods once again clearly frustrated, he could have just spent his time Jin but here he is roaming around Namwon to find Ken who seemed to have disappeared leaving behind what, a letter?
