Part-15: Bold

"Mo-Moon.. I.. " Jin shutters. Unable to comphehend his words as those innocent doe eyes of his sister search for an answer.

"You would have left us like Appa?"

Jin tries to understand Moon's sudden change of behavior but it is futile with all the emotions packed inside him. "No Mo-Moon, I told you Appa is out for an army medical camp. No one is leaving my sweetpie. He'll come back soon."

Now it was Tae's time to freeze in his place. He turns around wide eyes. Shame of guilt washing over his eyes.

Moon shakes her head, "I know Jinnie. I know everything. You can't fool me anymore. I know Appa is never going to come back to us. Tell me Jinnie, he won't right?"

"W-who told you?" How did those innocent eyes of his sister got tainted by the misery at such an early age?

"Him." Moon pointed towards Taehyung.

Jin look dead in Tae's eyes as Moon kept asking him question which he won't have any answer to. But if it's out infront of Moon already, Jin has to gather all his strength to tell her about the very truth of their life.

"No Moon. Appa is not coming back to us anymore." The dam breaks as tears spill Jin's eyes constantly while Moon does the same instantly hugging Jin.

"Why did you lie to me Jinnie? It's a bad thing to lie." Moon cries on her brother's chest wetting the thin cloth.

"I'm sorry Moon. I was unable to comprehend at how I'll explain you about Appa."

As soon as Moon cries herself to sleep on her brother's lap, Jin carefully placed her head on her pink bagpack and walks to Taehyung. Holding his collar.

"What the hell did you say to my sister?" Jin whisper yells right at Taehyung. Only he knows how he is able to control himself when his sister is brought to reality by a mere stranger. It could have been him advancing and telling Moon about the truth but Taehyung ruined it for a him and for a kid. Does Moon still trusts him after how he has lied to her and how she gets to know about it from a nobody?

"Exactly what she needed to know." Taehyung blurts pushing Jin away from him and unbuttoning his shirt and shrugging it off of his shoulder slowly.

Jin looks away thinking how he is being so shameless getting undressed in front of a stranger.

But obviously that didn't stop him from questioning the culprit.

"I sympathised her at least either of her parent is alive." Taehyung says casually as if it's nothing sensitive for him.

Jin finally faced Taehyung coming in front despite him being half naked. "Who are you to tell her? Why did you find it necessary to poke your nose into our business?"

"Yeah right, I'm no one. But atleast you're her brother. Why are you covering the truth with yours lies? Appa is out for camp and will come back soon. How long were you planning to feed her with fakes? The earlier she knows, It'll be better for her anyways."

"As her brother, I can tell her how much I want."

Jin instantly gets alert as Taehyung kneels down to where Moon has been sleeping.

"Don't you dare get close to my sister again." Jin warns him making him click his tongue in annoyance.

"Fine then, open your shirt and cover it over her to keep her warm." Tae smirks finding Jin flustered as his words.

"Wh-what..?" Jin gulps imagining himself getting naked in front of Taehyung. How could he when Taehyung's dark gaze feels like he is ready to eat him alive if given a chance.
